"Come here... Yoongi's mother moved to the other side... Do you see that? How are they both putting Tae in the spotlight? Now everyone knows who's going to be the next heir."

"He is the heir, Mom. He has the direct bloodline," Yoongi shrugged. "And I'm not interested in the business."

"You don't understand anything, Yoongi..."

"Mom, please. Your mother just died. Please focus on that."

"Yoongi, listen. Do you want to be his slave? You..."

"Mom, Mr. Kang is in jail, Jackson is in a mental asylum, Hana is hospitalized, and Ara is missing. All of them were linked to Joon-hyung's death."

Cha gulped and stared at him. "What are you saying, Yoongi?"

"Yes, Mom. It's true. Be careful. They didn't even spare Jungkook. So be cautious." With that, Yoongi walked away, leaving Cha feeling her head spin.

Taehyung dialed Jungkook's number for the nth time, but he couldn't reach him.

"Tae," Yoongi called out. "An interview from a business magazine. They're waiting."

"I can't reach Jungkook... I need to go to Korea."

"Jungkook is safe there... I'll call Jain. Just obey your parents now, please."

"Okay... Please call Jain again and let me know." Tae put a fake smile on his lips and walked outside.

"Sorry, Tae... I don't know what surprise awaits you..." Yoongi stared after him as he left.

"The day after tomorrow, you will take care of the entire Kim Group," Hoseok said to Taehyung.

"Dad can do this, Mom. Why me?"

"Just do what he's saying, Taehyung," Jin looked at him sternly

"Please, both of you are taking something very important away from me. I am longing for him..."

"Really? Is that boy more important to you than your parents? If my Joon were alive, I would never ask you to do this."

"Mom... Please... Jungkook..."

"Stop it, Taehyung. There are a lot of things in life more important than a boy. You can go to him, marry him, but only after you complete your responsibilities. Do you understand me, Taehyung? Do you get me?" Hoseok slapped the table and stared at Taehyung.

"He is important to me, Mom, more than anything. I understand my responsibilities as a son and a CEO, but right now, Jungkook is important to me. I'm going to Korea. I need to meet him," Tae said and walked out quickly.

Jin looked at Hoseok. "Let him go, Hobi. He is not our puppet. Let him..."

"No... I won't allow anyone to take my son away, even if it's Jungkook..." Hoseok gritted his teeth and walked upstairs.

"Now you are thinking like my father, Hoseok..." Jin said from behind.

"Dad," Jimin called him.

"Ah, it's nothing, child," Jin smiled. "Just mother-in-law things."

"Are you sure?" Jimin looked at him.

Jin took a deep breath. "Everything will be alright, Jimin," he said, giving him a faint smile.

Taehyung's private flight landed in Korea on the morning of the 9th. Yoongi informed him that Jungkook was at the Seoul office. Taehyung wondered why Jungkook was working there.

Once Taehyung reached his room, he called Jungkook's cabin, asking him to come to his office. To his surprise, someone else arrived instead.

"Who are you?" Taehyung frowned.

"I am your new office attendee, sir," the young man replied politely.

"Natasha," Taehyung called for his assistant.

"Yes, sir," she answered quickly.

"Where is Jungkook?"

"At the ad department, sir."

"Why?" he shouted. "Why did you send him there?"

"Not me, sir. He chose to go himself."

"What the hell? Call him here now," Taehyung ordered. He anxiously waited until he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," he said. Jungkook opened the door and stepped inside.

"Kooki," Tae greeted him happily, "I..."

"Did you call me, sir?" Jungkook asked nonchalantly.

"Kooki..." Tae walked toward him, but Jungkook moved back. "Please, sir, I have a lot of work in my department. Can you please tell me why you called me?"

"Kooki, are you angry with me? I'm sorry, baby... My grandma got killed... I was busy... And why did you come back without telling me? Please, sorry, dear... Come here, let's go home."

"Do we know each other?" Jungkook asked.

"What?" Tae frowned. "Kooki, please forgive me. I told you—"

"Look, Mr. Kim, if there was something between us, that was an old story. Let's forget it."

"Jungkook," Taehyung called, "have you lost yourself?"

"I loved you for your cash. I got what I wanted. Now please leave me alone," Jungkook shouted.

"Jungkook, don't make me angry. Please try to understand."

"You must understand, sir. I was aiming for your money, not your love."

"Jungkook..." Taehyung grabbed his hand tightly.

"Leave me, sir, or I will cry loudly. I hate you, Taehyung!" Jungkook pushed him and rushed outside. He immediately returned to his department and hid inside his cabin, wiping his eyes. "I'm sorry, hyung," he cried. "I'm really sorry."

"Jeon, get me a coffee," someone ordered. Jungkook wiped his eyes and went to get coffee. "Jeon, one tea for me. Jeon, gave me some hot water," orders came back to back, and he ran to fulfill them all.
