Taehyung pulled his car to a stop in front of his house. He glanced over at the sleeping boy beside him and softly called out, "Kooki... We're here."
"Just 10 more minutes," Jungkook mumbled in his sleep.
"Jungkook," Taehyung called again, but the boy remained fast asleep. With a gentle sigh, Taehyung stepped out of the car, walked around to the other side, and carefully lifted Jungkook into his arms.
As he entered the house, Yoongi's voice echoed from the living room, "Did you kill him?"
"Shut up," Taehyung shot back with a glare, carrying Jungkook upstairs. He gently laid him on the bed and brushed a tender kiss on his forehead. "Goodnight, Daffodil," he whispered lovingly.

Taehyung smiled at Jungkook, who turned away with a pout.
"Today is the last day. I will take leave starting tomorrow," Taehyung said reassuringly.
"No... Only three or four days left until the wedding, and you're still working," Jungkook complained.
.
"Promise, Kooki. This is the last day. Today, Mom and the others will be coming over," Taehyung explained.
"Oh, so you're taking leave for them, not for me," Jungkook pouted again.
"What?" Taehyung looked at him, confused.
"His mother's genes have transmitted successfully into him. Be careful, brother, he's going to break you apart," Yoongi chimed in from the doorway.
"I hate you," Jungkook shouted at Yoongi.
"The feeling is mutual, Chipmunk. By the way, come with me. Your designer is here and needs your measurements," Yoongi responded.
"Okay... Yoongi, which color will suit me? Yellow, green, red?" Jungkook asked.
"Are you planning to stand in the sky as a rainbow? This is for the wedding, man. You should choose something good," Yoongi said, giving Jungkook a light smack on the head.
Taehyung watched them with a wide smile, enjoying the playful banter.
**************
Yoongi and Jungkook were busy selecting flowers for the wedding venue. Jin had gone to the airport to pick up the Kim family, and the house was already being decorated. Taehyung had sent cars for the Jain and Jeon families.
"What about tulips?" Yoongi asked.
"They're very expensive. I don't have enough cash," Jungkook said, starting to calculate his account balance.
"Apply for a loan from the World Bank?" Yoongi suggested sarcastically.
"More loans? I'm already paying off three loans at once, and now I've lost my job too," Jungkook replied, frustrated.
Yoongi looked at him incredulously. "This boy is going to marry one of the richest men in the world," he said to the wedding planner, who smiled.
"I'm marrying Kim Taehyung, not his money," Jungkook shouted.
"Don't mind him. Tulips and roses are fixed. If there are any changes, I'll inform you," Yoongi said to the wedding planner.
"Okay, Mr. Min," the wedding planner smiled and looked at Jungkook, who was still calculating. "I'm leaving now," she said and walked out.
"Actually, I was..." Jungkook began, but his phone rang, cutting him off. He looked at the display. "Noona," he said. Yoongi and Jungkook exchanged glances, and Yoongi put the call on the speaker.
"Hello," Jungkook answered.
"Kooki," he heard his mother's voice.
"What?" Jungkook asked.
"Kooki, listen to me. Don't marry him. He will take revenge on you. He is not a good man," she said.
"Mom, can you please give the phone to your daughter?" Jungkook asked.
"Hello, Jungkook," Jiya said, taking the phone.
"Are you jealous of me?" Jungkook asked. "I know you are, because I'm marrying a rich, handsome man unlike your ugly husband."
"Jungkook," Jiya shouted.
"Don't shout. That's why you're making her call me like this."
"Bloody bitch... Just wait... You must be used and thrown, Jungkook," Jiya angrily spat.
"You must be careful, Jiya. Your husband has a lot of other relationships. In school, he was involved with almost all the teachers, even that fifty-year-old math teacher. Be careful. He id a playboy. And don’t be used and thrown away. Don’t believe our mother; she is a number one actress. If your husband throws you away, just remember you have a brother. But don’t come to me for any help. By the way, I’m going to London after my expensive marriage in my hubby's private jet. Goodbye, sister. Inform our actress—I mean, mom. Goodbye," Jungkook said, then cut the call and looked at Yoongi. "How was that?"
Yoongi smirked. "Impressive, Chipmunk. Impressive.". "When did you change like this, my dear family man?" Yoongi asked, raising an eyebrow.
"After spending time with you, my lord," Jungkook replied, bowing dramatically.
Both of them burst into laughter, the tension from the call quickly dissipating.
*************
When the cars arrived in front of the Kim mansion, Yoongi and Jungkook, accompanied by some maids, walked out to welcome the guests.
Hoseok smiled at Jungkook. "So, you finally got some sense. Sorry if I hurt you."
"No, Papa... I'm sorry," Jungkook said.
"Kooki!" Hoseok's mother called lovingly as she hugged him. "I missed you."
"I missed you too," he replied, hugging her back.
"Kooki!" Jimin exclaimed, pulling him into a hug. "I was so worried when you left without telling anyone," he complained.
"Sorry," Jungkook said.
"It's okay," Jimin said, patting his cheek.
"If this daily drama episode is over, please come inside... This is so awkward," Yoongi said with a disgusted look. Hearing Yoongi's voice, little Joon woke up from his nap and looked at him. "Ppa," he mumbled.
"Aww... My baby. Appa missed you," Yoongi said, picking up the child and walking inside. Everyone looked at them with warm smiles, except Jimin.
"Son-in-law," Jin called out to Jungkook.
"Yes, father-in-law?" Jungkook responded, turning towards him.
"We need to do something special for Yoongi and Jimin," Jin said thoughtfully.
"Yes," Jungkook nodded in agreement.
"I have some ideas," Jin began.
"No way... No, never, not anymore" Jungkook exclaimed, folding his arms and quickly walking inside.
"Wait, listen... It's not like the old one!" Jin called after him. "Son-in-law!"
But Jungkook didn't slow down, moving briskly to avoid whatever eccentric plan Jin had in mind. Jin hurried after him, still trying to convince him.
