Jungkook glanced at his father, concerned etched on his face. "Are you okay, Dad?"

"Yes... just a bit nervous to face them," Jeon sighed, his shoulders sagging slightly.

"For what? You didn't do anything wrong, Dad," Jain reassured him, though her own anxiety was evident. The imposing setup of the Kim mansion made her uneasy.

Mr. Jeon, Jin, and Mr. Min entered the hall with broad smiles, exchanging firm handshakes. "How was the journey?" Jin asked warmly.

"It was nice," Jeon replied, trying to relax.

"Dad, Uncle, this is my sister Jain," Jungkook introduced.

"Oh, so you're the one who got into a university in Japan! Congratulations, dear," Mr. Min said with a kind smile.

"Thank you, Uncle," Jain replied, smiling back.

They all took seats in the luxurious living room, the tension palpable. Jin broke the silence. "They decided on their marriage very soon. What should we do? Are you okay with this, Jeon?"

"I'm very much okay with it, as long as my Kooki is happy," Jeon responded, looking affectionately at his son. A maid arrived with a tray of tea, serving each of them.

Shortly after, Hoseok and his parents joined them. Jungkook shot a nervous glance at Hoseok, who responded with a soft, reassuring smile. He inquired about Jeon's health and Jain's studies, which brought a wave of relief to Jungkook

"Mr. Jeon, how have you been feeling lately?" Hoseok asked with genuine concern.

"I've been managing, thank you for asking, Hoseok. " Jeon replied, visibly more at ease.

As the conversation flowed, the initial tension eased. The families discussed the upcoming wedding, shared stories, and laughed together, building a foundation of mutual respect and understanding.

*************

Jain was playing with little Joon, and they had quickly become friends.

Jimin noticed Jungkook pacing around, deep in thought. "Are you okay, Kooki?" he asked, concerned.

"He hasn't come yet, hyung," Jungkook replied, anxiety is clear in his voice.

"He will. He needs to arrange everything before he can take leave for the wedding," Jimin reassured him.

"Yeah... but he's not answering my calls."

"Don't get tense... he will come soon." Just as Jimin spoke, Taehyung's car pulled up to the house. Taehyung stepped out and walked into the hall with a bag in hand. "Taetae!" little Joon exclaimed, running to him and climbing into his arms. "Hey, baby," Taehyung kissed his cheek. "Jain, when did you arrive?"

"This afternoon, Oppa," she smiled.

"How was the journey?"

"It was good."

"Where's your father?" Taehyung asked.

"First floor, last room," Jimin replied. "Do you need anything to drink, Taehyung?"

"No, thanks. Let me meet him first. I already had dinner." Taehyung walked towards Jeon's room.

Both Jain and Jimin noticed Jungkook looking upset. "He didn't even see me..." Jungkook mumbled.
