Jungkook walked slowly, watching as almost everyone had already left the office. He gave a faint smile to the security guards and headed towards his hostel. As he approached, he noticed a car parked in front of the building. A man was leaning against the car, both hands in his pockets. Jungkook walked up to him, intrigued. The man had an air of casual elegance, his posture relaxed yet confident. He wore a tailored black suit that accentuated his tall, lean frame. His hair, a dark, glossy mane, was perfectly styled, framing a face that was both sharp and alluring. The evening light highlighted his chiseled features, and his eyes, a deep, piercing shade, seemed to hold a world of secrets.
"Can we talk, chipmunk?" Yoongi asked, removing his shades.
"I don't..." Jungkook began, but before he could finish, Yoongi grabbed him by the collar and shoved him into the car.
"No... Yoongi!" Jungkook shouted, but Yoongi ignored him, started the car, and drove away.
"What do you think you're doing? Stop it, Yoongi!" Jungkook pleaded, grabbing Yoongi's arm.
"I'm not Taehyung, chipmunk, i will hurt you" Yoongi warned, giving him a glare that silenced him. He smirked, seeing the fear in Jungkook's eyes.
Yoongi stopped the car by the riverbank. "Get out. Let's talk."
Jungkook got out and followed Yoongi like an obedient puppy. "So, tell me, what's the problem?"
Jungkook looked down, avoiding his gaze.
"I'm asking you something. I want to know why you said all that to Taehyung? He was angry and agreed to another marriage."
"No..." Jungkook shouted.
"Oh, so you need him? Then tell me what happened. I won't stand for my brother's sadness."
"I'm not good for him, Yoongi. I'm not perfect for him."
"Who told you that? Jung Hoseok? Or Seokjin?"
"No one. I just feel it. He was happy before I was in his life, and since we started our relationship, he's faced so many problems. The other day, his father asked me, 'Who will you choose first? Tae or family?' I've been thinking about that answer for hours. Even if someone asked Tae, he'd definitely choose me... but I can't."
"You're imagining things, Jungkook. Whose life is perfectly alright? Everyone has problems. If you truly love him, you have to support him during hard times. What are you doing now? Giving him more hardships."
"Yoongi... It's just... his mother asked me to leave my family behind and live with him, but I can't. My family is my responsibility."
"Yeah, the best family you have..."
"Yoongi, please... they were in an accident and were also admitted to the hospital. My dad got paralyzed, and my mom..."
"Your mom?" Yoongi looked at him. "Do one thing: go home and take your mom to a counselor. I'm 100 percent sure she's acting."
"For what?" Jungkook asked, puzzled.
"I don't know, but believe me. I'm a forensic science teacher, and I know psychology. She's acting. If you break up with Taehyung for your so-called family, you'll regret it later." Yoongi walked closer to him. "Just think about it, Jungkook. Did your family support you anytime? Your father, mother, or sister? Then how can you choose them over Taehyung?"
