“What did you just say? I can talk to you if I’m satisfied with my share or not, right?” Lisa  finally couldn’t bear it anymore, she raised her head and stared at Hyunjae, ” Haven’t I mentioned it to you in the past? But what did you do? What you did was to ignore me, not only did you not mention my share, you even gave my share to Sujin who had done nothing but nestle in my case and mess it up!”

“Why are you so hostile to Sunin? Sujin’s father passed away when she was a child, but she still has the worldly experience of dealing with these people. Your father is still alive and well, just with a broken arm, and you weren’t taught any of this? Did he just let your rotten temper run wild?”

Lisa was a short tempered person, but over the years, she had rarely spoken back to Hyunjae in the true sense of the word. It was only because she had always been grateful for Hyunjae’s kindness which he had shown to her family back then, and she always thought of Hyunjae’s previous support to her family in time of need without any complaints from herself. But now that he was talking about her father in such a tone, Lisa couldn’t help it.

Time can change too many things, Hyunjae has finally become a completely different person, a complete stranger to Lisa. The teacher who used to be so proud of his principle but also willing to kneel down to a client in order to help them is no longer there.

Time had taken everything away.
Lisa closed her eyes and finally stopped thinking about those past favours to endure.

Her eyes were furious and she was so angry that she was shaking, “Hyunjae, shut up!”

Lisa finally laughed this time and looked at Hyundai with a provocative expression on her face, “Yes, I dare, I’m quitting now, go fck yourself.”
