Unfortunately, weekends always fly by, and in the blink of an eye, it was time to go back to work on Monday. Lisa had finally informed Jungkook of the time when Guifeng Communications would be negotiating with Kwon Yumi, so on Monday afternoon, Lisa and Jungkook arrived at Guifeng Communications’ headquarters.

Yumi reached early and waited in the reception area of the office building. Compared to her anxiety and apprehension, Lisa was much calmer. She was well prepared for the negotiation. In fact she thought that these kinds of negotiations didn’t even need Jungkook’s presence. When she informed him of the Monday afternoon negotiation time, she thought that Jungkook wouldn’t be interested in these petty negotiations.

However, to her surprise, Jungkook only pursed his lips and then adjusted his schedule for the afternoon and came along with her.

In terms of the size of the case, legal fees, cost – effectiveness and other aspects, this case was not worth the trouble of a lawyer of Jungkook’s calibre. Yet in order to be involved in this case, Jungkook had not only agreed to lose his lion’s share of the money but also represent an employee side that he did not agree with at all in his heart and now he was even doing everything himself.
“I always feel as if he has a grudge against us at ZhaoHui. As long as we take up a case at ZhaoHui, he will definitely go and represent the other party, even if the bid amount is small, hardly making any money.”

Looking at the cold-looking man beside her, the words that Zhang Junda had said earlier were still ringing in her ears.

Did Jungkook really have a grudge against ZhaoHui? Was it a business rivalry feud? Or was it something else? A personal vendetta? Why did he suddenly take a 180 degree turn in his attitude to interfere with her case at the expense of punching himself in the face?

The fact that he would want to join such a case so desperately, there must be something wrong.

There must be other reasons here but Jungkook doesn’t want to talk about it. But what’s the reason?

Luckily, Lisa soon ran out of time to think of such nonsense as a team of people came from the office area of Guifeng Communications. Lisa  was sharp-eyed and recognized at glance the person at the head of the team as the head of the HR department who had been interviewed in the video earlier. She had a nameplate pinned to her chest, and her full name was Li Minjun, and beside her stood Kim Sujin. But she was not accompanied by Hyunjae, who in the end seemed to be just a titular person, not so much that he would really stoop to the level of doing such a small case for Sujin.

However, lawyer Jeon really has a good appetite as he can just accept anyone. Do you know why our lawyer Manoban was fired in the first place?”

Her words obviously made several people from Guifeng Communications look at Lisa with curiosity, and because of Lisa’s face, these people looked at Lisa with a playful and subtle look, almost as if they were displaying their own thoughts on their faces — Kwon Yumi was a small employee with little money, what kind of good lawyer could she hire? It’s just some trivial people, how can she be as rich and powerful as a company to hire a law firm like ZhaoHui?
