Our morning started with a trio of us brushing our teeth together like we were a full fledged family trying to rush out of the door. Barry fought his way to have the master, rightfully so since he slept on the couch the entirety he was in the penthouse. I'd rather share the bathroom with Jacob and Wes anyway. It seems like Wesley likes to pace while brushing his teeth and Jacob sways back and forth. It's like each of them know it's crucial to have clean teeth, but it's a waste of their time. They're just waiting for the two minute mark so they can go off and do better things. However, I have to keep turning the sink off each time they wet their brush, and they just don't seem to pick up on it as I've turned it off at least three times in a one minute span.

"You're wasting water by leaving it on," I said with my mouth full of foamy toothpaste, turning it off again.

"It's not like it'll run the water bill up," Jacob said after emptying his mouth into the sink.

"There are people out there that don't have water. It's a waste," I replied as I turned the water on to wash off my toothbrush, then turning it back off.

"I donate enough to the needy. I don't need lessons on morals," Jacob finished up and wiped his mouth on his hand. I furrowed my brows and stared at him as he walked out of the bathroom, flabbergasted. To be fair, I am not a morning person, but Jacob might be worse than me. I've only ever seen him focused on work or doing a quick workout in the morning, but after New York, we are all out of sorts. Seeing Jacob as soon as his eyes open shows me he is more human than I thought. He lazily trotted down the stairs, stomping as loud as he could.

Wesley finished pacing around the hall and came back in the bathroom, toothpaste all down his chin. I chuckled at the sight and stood back as he washed his face.

"Always wait to wash your face after you brush your teeth. That shit gets everywhere," He informed me as if I did my mouth hygiene like an animal as well. I giggled as I was left to finish up my morning routine alone. I've never had a brother, but always wanted an older one. Wesley definitely feels like that dynamic. He's been there for me since day one, and we just clicked. I see how Jacob has carried him through the years as a best friend. Everyone needs a Wesley.

As I walked downstairs to grab something for breakfast, I pondered what all I should do today. I'm not sure if there's a plan set in place, but that pool is looking pretty promising. It's going to be hard to get me to do anything else, honestly.

After grabbing a banana, I took it upon myself to grab a swimsuit I picked out with Barry at the mall and a towel so I could relax by the pool. I checked the weather, seeing it would get to be 90 degrees around lunch time. I have a couple hours before it'll get too hot, and I'll use that advantage. The boys had gone their separate ways, leaving the pool all to myself, which I didn't mind. The cushioned sun chairs were calling my name. I set up my space and peeled my banana, happily enjoying the UV rays penetrating my skin.

I could see my rooms window from my position at the pool. I'm assuming Wesley and Jacob's were the windows right by it. Barry's master bedroom was at the end of the house facing nothing but the big field and trees. I wonder what he was up to, or if he was even awake yet. As the thought crossed my mind, I heard a loud speaker coming into the distance. My sunglassed eyes darted to the french doors to see Barry carrying a boxy device playing today's top hits as he pumped his fist cheerfully. I groaned as I had about five minutes of peace and quiet before his extroverted self made his way to the pool.

"Someone slept well," I mumbled to myself as I pulled out my journal to hopefully give him a hint. However, if it's one thing he will ignore, it's a hint. He left and came back to the pool with a case of beer and an excited Wes following behind like a retriever.
