Everything silent before the being suddenly puts his hand out. A red bloody bone like sword materializes in his hand. If my own skull sword looked terrifying before it now looked tame compared to this thing. It was monstrous, not in just size, but in appearance as well. Before we can fight. Two bright white lights shoot to the ground. 

The light dimmed and there stood two beings dressed in white silverish metal; 2 pairs of pale peach wings sat on their backs. They were both tall. I couldn't tell if they were female or male. It was weird. There features looked like a male, but everything was flat, and I mean everything. The most startling thing about them though was their eyes. You'd suspect they have white eyes like everything else on them, but no. Their eyes were cave dark black.

Staring at them felt like I was staring into an endless black hole i would never escape from. It was startling and a shiver ran throughout my body. I knew they were angels, but something didn't feel right. They felt.......unearthly sinister to be angels.

Both angels take a step forward, their bare feet pattered against the pavement in an unsettling way." Hello Daniel, Fenton. It's a pleasure to finally meet the Ghost king. Your old citizens having spoken nothing, but fondness of you.

My eyes widen." My old citizens? They're there with you in heaven? One steps Infront of us both as one stays slightly behind. "Yes, most of your citizens have come and are happily with their families." A small warmth fills my heart at the thought of them getting to reunite with their families and be happy in the true afterlife.

The angels next three words were like a knife to the heart. It shattered my reality and made me remember where I was and what I had previously been in the middle of." Even your Katsuki!"

A growl ripped from my throat. The words were simple, but they were laced in a threat." Watch what you say angel! Your still on earth, my territory." They smile." Actually, if I remember correctly, Custos Inferorum here was about to relieve you of your position of Ghost king?"

I turn walking around Custos Inferorum, a small ecto barrier wrapping around my being." Here i thought humans were the sick beings. To think humans worship going to a place with such a sick sense of humor is disgusting. If you're not careful I might start thinking Hell is the kinder of the two. Now if you'll excuse me, I have business with someone." I'm startled again as both stand Infront of my being, blocking me from Tomura.

I suddenly find Midoriya and Fright Night at my sides." You dare block our king's path. You should know your place lowly demons." Both beings seemed to just stand there. The angel who had stood to the side not saying a world finally moved. They stood in front of the other angel slightly bowing." Our apologies. Please forgive my fellow angels' behavior.  Allow me to introduce us. I am Charoum and this is Calliel. We have been sent to Earth to right the wrongs of this planet and bring balance back to this realm." I stare at them. If that's the case why the fuck are they keeping Tomura from me, protecting him?

"You claim to want to fix this world and put things back the way they are supposed to be, but all you've shown me is you would rather protect a chaotic monster then protect the humans. "

The demon grunts before speaking. The smooth Latin hits my ears as I internally translate what he is saying.

"The being your trying to kill is currently helping maintain the balance. Without him the death rate would plummet. People of earth will still die, but the birth rate and population would increase. Blood lines that were never supposed to have a future would be here. Fate will step in to correct the miss doings. Thats another issue all together. Their someone I know you wouldn't like. We may seem cruel to you, but balance needs to be maintained. Something clockwork has failed to do. "

Apart of me understand what they meant, what they were trying to do, but it was cruel, inhumane. Have these beings ever been human? If so, how long have they been away from the mortal plain?

They talk of ending entire blood lines as if they were talking about the weather. If they had been human. I may be able to appeal more to the angel than the demon and change their mind.

" You talk of wanting to maintain balance but look around you. These are humans. There will always be death. Wars between different countries break out every few centuries, people arnt perfect. There will be death. Whether from natural causes, or premature. Death is a constant. We don't need one monster here destroying lives. Humans do that to themselves more than you think.

Humans are constantly evolving and learning. We are in the golden age of Quirks. Quirks are getting stronger. Soon many humans won't be able to even contain their powers in their bodies."

They both stare at me with a blank look." Bold words from a ghost who said he would end the world if "Katsuki, Bakugo died!"

I clench my fists looking away." I admit that personal feelings do get in the way sometimes, but can you blame me? I'm still a hormonal teenager." There's a sigh.

"We are truly sorry Daniel, Fenton. This task and title were never supposed to go to you. Pariah Dark was supposed to remain in power but never awake from his slumber. If for whatever reason, he did parish. The crown was to go to Fright Night or Frost bite. Both beings are loyal to the title and have served their purpose well in their rolls. In fact, Daniel." Charoum looks at me, a small mischievous smirk on his face.

"You were never supposed to live through that accident. You should have died that day."
