My dreams were odd. I dreamt Tavi found another man and had him take care of me. He was easing the pain through teasing and touching until, well, yeah. Even in my dreams, I'm able to blush. A giggle catches my attention.

"Hey girl, I was wondering how long it would take." I turn to the voice that is like mine, but it's a little deeper, sultry, and smooth. She looks like me, only a foot taller, has scales gently scattered across her skin, floor-length wavy white-opal hair, pointed ears, pointed nails, and small swooped back opal horns. Her eyes are like mine. She's wearing a belly dancing-looking dress.

"Aislinn?"

"That I am. It's time to wake up now, but you and I need to bond first. That, and I want our body to rest for what's about to happen." Aislinn has a mischievous smirk as she looks off into the sky. What exactly is about to happen? She shivers and shakes herself before looking back at me. "Sorry. I've been going over our memories. Our mate's tusks are a new fetish of mine. Too bad he's not the type to be dominated. What I wouldn't give..." She trails off as she licks her lips. I can smell something sweet in the air.

"I like when he has me pinned and..." I slap my hand over my mouth and blush. "I didn't mean to say that!"

"You're fine. Most of your thoughts will become words in our shared space. Oh, we're in our mind, by the way." I look around. There's vast green plains filled with flowers, a forest off in the distance, I hear a stream and crashing waves, and cotton candy clouds in the vast blue sky. I see a mountain in the distance and smile.

"Our inner world is pretty big."

"It is. It's a combination of our memories and what we crave. Unfortunately, it isn't tangible like Faemála's. I don't know how that happened. Our inner worlds aren't supposed to become real." That is a good question.

"We can figure that out later. For now, what do we do to bond?" She looks at me dumbfounded. "What, haven't you ever done this before?"

"Oh, well, no. We originals and first generation taníyn never had second natures or separate selves. When we passed on, we became them. All except me and my sis. We became En'rux'kulu. She has no interest in rejoining the world. She foresaw what happened. No one listened. They blamed her."

"I don't blame her. I understand why she would want to avoid the living. We can give her a name. It might help her feel accepted." I suggest.

"She won't accept." Aislinn sighs. "They called her Auntie, then soulless monster. They blamed her for being an oracle and claimed she killed an entire generation of taníyn and their maid. She sent them to your world. She said it was the only way to ensure our future. The taníyn of your world were able to ensure their survival. YOUR survival." She kicks a stone into the water. "What?" She giggles.

"You're amazing." I giggle. It feels like we need a change. She's getting upset. "Hey, I have an idea."

"Oh, what's that?" I pop my wings out and smirk.

"Since we're in our inner world, that should mean," I use force to beat my wings, launching into the air, "we can fly!" She giggles, launching into the air with me. We explore our inner world for hours. The depression and pain in my chest lessens. I can't imagine what they went through.

We finally take a break on a floating island. It wasn't a mountain! It has a waterfall that's pouring into the sea. We talk about anything and everything that crosses our minds. It's like a sleepover with Anela and Tammy when we were kids... minus the two of them, ending up in a closet.
