Blasters fired, forcing Avery to jump despite the gravity manipulation placed on her soul. She landed heavily on the side of the wall and summoned a few bones for Sans to dodge. Her intention wasn't to cause any harm, only showing a little bit of what she could do with their father's magic. Sans scoffed, and bones shot up from the floor and ceiling, giving her little chance to avoid harm as he dragged her soul through the pattern. It had been a long time since she'd had to fight anyone - she could feel bruises starting to form everywhere as she was slammed into the opposite wall. She tried to lunge away again, as more bones started to peirce her flesh. She felt her blood start to drip. She popped a cinnabunny in her mouth to max out her HP, then fired a blaster at him, which only seemed to further anger him. He summoned two blasters and started to continuously fire them at her, making her shortcut around while he tried to kill her. Is annoyance towards her only seemed to grow, and she wondered how much more until he snapped because no matter what, he wasn't going to goad her into killing him.

Blasters, bones, and platforms. It was quite the complex attack, and where the blaster was summoned between the sets of platforms was randomized. She'd almost burn under one a couple of times. Luckily, her own countered Sans and, with her determination, even easily overwhelmed it. Destruction was not her aim, though, so the other blaster was left in tact. The fact that she had that power and refused to use it frustrated Sans to no end, and yet he stuck to his patterns. Shortcuts were added as he attacked with what seemed to be flashes of bones, blasters, and soul attacks. Avery wasn't fast enough to get out of all of them and took a lot of damage- Sans wasn't done yet, though. She took even more damage as she was shot through another maze, and a bone peirced through her leg as she tried to jump away from the wall. She was forced to create a protective wall of bones as blasters shot at her in a ring. She took that time to regain some HP and let Gaster's Voidish regeneration start to heal some of her wounds.

Sans still wasn't finished, though. Avery's soul turned blue from within her cage, and Sans used all his force to break it with her body. She tried to soften the blow by dispelling the magic as she was torn out, but she could feel shards of bone scratching her as she was slammed into a wall hard enough to give her whiplash. It happened over and over and over to every surface in the room, and all she could do was cling to her determination as her HP went from 10 to 1 in a matter of milliseconds. It kept dropping as Sans started to tire. 1 to 0.1 to 0.01 to 0.001 to 0.0001 and so on and do forth until she was on her back, blood trickling from her mouth. All she could hear now was Sans panting as exhaustion started to set in. The regeneration started all over again as they both took a reprieve... when Avery was able to open her eyes, she found that Sans had fallen asleep standing. Slowly and painfully, she got up to pick up her brother and carry him home. She sincerely hoped that he got what he had needed out of their little scuffle.
