The Gauntlet of The West

Zatic yet again hits a barrier and gets hit with an Intent beam Zatic falls flat on the ground exhausted The West points his finger to him on the ground

and says "What a surprise it seems you were more than just a bug"

Hiero realizing what is about to happen throws his Short sword at The West's Gauntlet to throw it off course but instead he changes his offensive beam into a defensive barrier. Hiero takes his Black Fur Blade and swings an air slash at The West's Barrier thinking the barrier will hold The West lets the attack land only to be surprised when the Barrier starts to crack under the pressure of the attack from The Blade,

The West Intrigued asks Hiero "Where did you get that blade from and who helped you unlock its power"

Hiero enraged charges at the West and swings at him furiously,

effortlessly dodging the attack The West asks " You know you can't win like that you can't even defend your friend how can you touch me?"

The West bored again shoots an intent beam at Hieros shoulder, injured Hiero falls to his knees and takes a deep breath thinking of the time when he first felt the power the blade provided him and the time when he delved deeper into its power knowing he is on the edge of death he lets the power flow through his body and take control from his feet to his chest and from his lungs, he breathes the true name of The Black Fur Blade

Hiero says "Xanros"

as he speaks the truth into existence Hiero's Intent starts to spiral around Him when he draws Xanros His Intent Puffs into a circle with spikes around it.

The West thoroughly impressed says " I sorely misjudged you both"

The West continues sadly "Only if I could have you in my army what a waste"

The West shoots multiple Intent Beams at Hiero at Light speed Hiero unfazed walks gallantly towards The West each Intent Beam deflecting off of his spiky Intent, getting close enough Hiero swings The West dodges his initial swing but is caught off guard from the second slice that comes back from a different angle nearly about to get hit The West barely dodges the second surprise attack. The West continues dodging Hieros's attack knowing that trying to block or parry one of his attacks will break the gauntlet. Knowing that simple tricks won't be enough to stop Hiero The West uses his Intent for the first time in Years, As The West draws his Intent Hiero feels a sense of unsurmountable fear,

The West says "Okay no more games " The West points his finger downward and says "Fall"

As Hiero leaps toward The West he falls down to the ground and stays stuck to it as if the pressure was increased by 10 fold and he could barely lift up his head,

The West says "As I said before truly a was-" Mid-sentence The West is cut off, As the pressure lets up from The West being distracted Hiero can lift his head he sees that The West is looking out into the distance and smiling

The West says "He is here".
