WE ARRIVED TO NEW YORK around noon, and we settled back in. it was an amazing 3 weeks, but i missed being here. saying goodbye to my mom and hayley is always sad, but i might see them for my birthday !
sebastian gets here during the week and leah has been so excited for the days to come. i'm more excited on learning music for the competition in europe. it's my first time ever traveling for a competition of music and the excitement is in the air.
nathan went back home and settled in,we walked to the grocery store for a restock.
inside the store, i pulled out a list of groceries.
"oh no rose, you look like my mother, she used to do that all the time" leah says.
"hey, you're mom was very smart, but i know we are capable of forgetting something important and i do not wanna walk all the way back here" i inform.
"you know she has a point leah" jimena points out.
"yeah whatever" she backs off. "guess who's getting their recognition on instagram" she says.
she grabbed jimena by the shoulders and pulls her in for a side hug. "us!"
"we are getting more followers by the day, i feel famous" she shrugged.
"yeah alot of people were asking me if i was nathan's wife" jimena giggled.
"this is gonna help us alot to build our music group!" leah says. "think of it as an offer"
"hm your right" i say. "milk 2%, check!"
"change of subject!" leah states. "i want to throw a party at our house"
the last time leah hosted a party, someone threw up all over her bed. then, they trashed leah's kitchen. is this a good idea?
"i don't know lee, at our apartment?" jimena asks. "our complex is kinda like quiet?..."
"i know, but come on, wouldn't it be fun? plus, sebastian would be back and it'll be his "welcome back" party" she explains.
"you'd have to convince us, but im 50/50?" i say.
"i just like having fun" jimena shrugged.
"okay" leah clapped joyfully.
"nutella, check!"
AFTER COOKING DINNER we all cleaned the kitchen and finished up fast. we ended up watching a movie together until we got tired. but instead of going to sleep, we came into jimena's room.
"what do you guys think spain is like?" jimena asks.
"from the look of milo's stories, bright and gloomy" leah chuckles.
"i say its traditional, meaning something festival is always happening" i say.
"i wonder if mr.garcia would let us bring in boys to the hotel room" jimena snickered.
"probably not? but if we're sneaky enough we just might" leah says.
"because the guys aren't there for the competition, we'd be able to be sneaky, they'd just have to put the tape back on the door" i say.
"that is so right" leah realized.
"we're gonna have so much fun, i'm excited" jimena squealed.
"especially for rosalie, it'll be the first time seeing milo after 3 months" jimena adds on.
"oh yeahhh" leah says. "you both are gonna be in for a good treat on the first night" she teased.
"stop" i laughed.
"the butterflies in the stomach, the tension, the turn on moments, the makeouts, the nights in bed, the outfits, spain is the place to be!" leah shouts.
"ew you freak!" jimena laughed.
"she might be right on this one jimy" i laugh.
"i'm sure mr.garcia wouldn't mind, as long as we're all safe and not going missing!"
"i don't know, prior to the fun moments, i'm actually excited for the competition. i remember how we used to hear the upperclassman brag out traveling to sing, now look at us" i mention.
"it's so cool how a school gives you so many opportunities" jimena says.
"opportunities and the chance to meet new people" leah says.
"this is why i love new york. you have so many big opportunities and the people, i'm really happy to meet milo here" i say.
"ew rose, let's not get corny" leah blattered out.
"okay hater" i rolled my eyes. "how about a pillow fight?" i suggest.
"oooo me!"
