IT WAS THE DAY before christmas eve and we decided to visit a beach town. i had invited the others and they agreed to tag along. my mom was excited to see everyone and meet nate, she's watched them grow up so it's always a joy for her.
"so we'll be practicing until february. mr.garcia wants perfection and we're gonna give perfection" leah says.
"that's what you said last concert and you messed up a whole system" jimena snickered.
"shut up jimy, let's talk about your fall down the stairs huh?" she replied.
"nothing compared to you messing up a whole song!" she argued.
"hey! we just got to nathan's house" i speak up.
i look over at hayley and see how she's laughing at their argument.
"i find it funny how he lives 5minutes away from all of us" mom laughed.
"we did too, it was a big shocker"
moments later, the door gate opens and nathan comes out. he opens the door and jimena greets him with a big kiss.
"ew, get in" leah says.
he's climbs next to jimena and hayley turns around to look at nathan.
"hi nathan, i'm hayley; rosalie's sister. this is my mommy katie, who are you?" hayley says.
"hi hayley, i'm jimenas boyfriend. we met during school and been together since" he replies.
"cool, call me hay or hay hay. you're approved" she smiled, turning back around.
WE ARRIVED TO THE TOWN AND we checked in at a hotel. we were only gonna stay a night here so we wouldn't drive at night. throughout the 2 hours my mom was driving, she got to know nate and she really liked him.
"let's head down at the beach!" hayley shouts, running towards the beach.
"hayley be careful!"
"lee when we go back, is sebastian already home?" i ask.
"not until the week after we come back. but i'm so excited for his arrival. lately i've been feeling so lonely, so i'm happy" she smiled.
"what's he filming for?" mom says.
"oh he's filming a tv series called "TSITP" in massachusetts, he's been filming there for a good 3 months now" leah explained.
"cool, but what about school?" she wondered.
"nyu takes care of everything when a drama student goes away for a role" she says.
"that's amazing, i wish school was that easy back then" mom shrugged.
"MOM! there's a dolphin!" hayley shouts.

yeah same, we were at the beach today me, hay, mom, leah, jimy and nate we had dinner, went shopping and my mom got to know nathan more, she liked him

mmm that's all we did really we're at a hotel here though, cause the drive back home is 2 hours and i didn't want my mom driving this late
