Mike was getting ready for his date with Will. They were gonna watch movies in the ballet together. Mike made sure to put his best clothes on, nothing extremely fancy though. Mike looked at the mirror and smiled before running to the kitchen and started making all of Wills favourite snacks. He put all his favourite foods and sweets into a bowl. He knew Will was gonna like this. Mike took two bowls at the time, careful to not drop them. Once everything was sorted he picked out a movie to watch with Will. He looked over at the wall which had a bulletin board filled with Wills letters or pictures of Will and Mike. He smiled softly. He truly believed Will was his only true love. Every time they interacted or even looked at each other he felt a spark.
He imagined a great future with Will. He hoped in the future that people would be more accepting of people like Mike.
As he finished he made sure to take down any of the bad photos from the shelves knowing Will would definitely have bad flashbacks. He put them in a box and hid it away. He smiled widely when he heard an eager knock at the front door and he quickly bolted to the door. He opened it and saw Hopper with Will. Hopper looked at him then squinted, looking like he was trying to tell Mike something but he was too focused on Will. Hopper quietly spoke with Will and he nodded. He waved goodbye and went to his car. Mike let Will inside and closed the door. He grabbed the brunettes hand and dragged him downstairs. He smiled at the display of snacks.
The two boys settled down on the couch as the movie begun playing. Will had his head on Mikes shoulder. They munched on snacks until the majority was gone. Mike looked at the clock that said '9:23' and he looked over at Will who was fast asleep. The movies credits were rolling, playing a random song. Mike carefully slipped out and took the VHS out and put it back on the shelf. Mike grabbed the blanket that had fallen to the floor in the middle of the movie and he put it over himself and Will. Will nuzzled his head into Mikes shoulder making Mike smiles softly. He gently kissed Wills forehead and eventually lulled off to sleep.
