"And who's fault is that?" "mine." you say and he nods, finding it amusing that you agree to it. you both find yourselves locked in the eyes of each other once again and Jungkook is quick to break when he realizes something.

"y/n! The souffle!" he groans as he sees the top surface sunk, the dessert so obviously cold. His arms hit the counter in disappointment. "it's cold again..." his voice trails as he takes the spoon and scoops some only for the center oozing nutella to be hardened.

he's got a pout on his face that you so badly want to kiss but instead, you take his wrist that holds the spoon and bring it closer to your lips, allowing him to feed you. He's taken back by your action but he's too sad to even feel the chills of your palms around his

wrist and the fact that you're feeding yourself with his hands. "it's okay, it still tastes good." you hum and feed him some too making him grow a soft smile. "time for vitamins and then we can head to bed.

let's wait for some time." he advises and walks with you toward the living room after washing the casserole. you both sit on the couch, a cushion distance away as he passes the remote to you so you can choose a movie or series from Netflix.

you choose to watch some random series since you're not in the mood for it. you can sense the tension within Jungkook, as his eyebrows scrunch while he looks at the ground and zones out. his features express his feelings so well, that you think anyone would find it easy to guess what's in his mind.

As you give it a thought, Jungkook used to be quite reserved and rarely showed any emotion on his face, often maintaining a neutral expression. You used to think it was his poker face, always displaying stoic features, but now he's allowing himself to be free and expressive, showing that he has emotions, contrary to what you once believed.

there's silence between you two, only the speech and background music of the leads in the series keep the room from pin-drop quietness. Jungkook tries to maintain his focus on what's being displayed on the television but often finds himself staring at the ground as he contemplates if he should text them or not.

it's been some time since they got back to him, Yoongi's never-ending attempt to find Jungkook shows how he constantly texts with different phone numbers and has taken the biggest step by entering the office, it shows that he's not gonna give up until he lets Jungkook know what he has to know.

on the other hand, Taehyung had been texting Jungkook too, now and then after they'd both seen each other for the first time in 5 years at Paris. he doesn't understand why it seems so easy for them to reach out like they hadn't ruined Jungkook's life back then. like they are unaware of everything that had taken place in the past, they seem so oblivious and it makes him mad and confused.

The silence from the man seated beside you and the monotonous TV show slowly make you sleepy. You wanted to spark a conversation with him but he's too busy with his thoughts that he hadn't spoken a word neither has a hum left his lips.

your eyes feel droopy and your head drops to the cushion that your hands wrap around. Jungkook notices your head falling back and immediately gets closer to you so your head places itself on his shoulder.

he feels sorry that even though he was right beside you, he still made you feel alone that you slept. You were an energy ball a while ago that he didn't think you would fall asleep so fast.

he could've at least spoken to you a little but he was too engrossed in his thoughts and worries that he couldn't and so you eventually fell asleep. Jungkook watches you shift as you make yourself more comfortable, even though you've knocked off, he has to wake you up so you can have your vitamins, he will not let you sleep without having them.
