As the McLaren team geared up for the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation. Monza, with its rich history and high-speed straights, promised a thrilling race. Lando, focused and determined, was eager to capitalize on his recent success, while Cassy was relieved that her morning sickness had eased considerably.

---

Charles and his girlfriend Alexandra had extended an invitation to Lando and Cassy for dinner in Milan. The idea of a relaxing evening with friends was appealing, especially given the hectic schedule leading up to the race.

"Cassy, how are you feeling today?" Lando asked as they prepared to leave for dinner.

"Much better," Cassy replied with a smile. "I'm really looking forward to tonight."

"Me too. It'll be nice to catch up with Charles and Alexandra," Lando said, wrapping an arm around her waist.

As they headed to Milan, Cassy couldn't help but notice that Lando seemed preoccupied. He had been absent more than usual lately, often disappearing for hours at a time. When she asked him about it, he brushed it off, saying he was just handling some last-minute race preparations.

The restaurant Charles and Alexandra had chosen was a charming, intimate place tucked away in the heart of Milan. It boasted a warm, rustic ambiance with soft lighting and delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen.

Charles and Alexandra were already there when Lando and Cassy arrived. They greeted each other with hugs and settled into a cozy corner table.

"It's so good to see you both," Alexandra said, her eyes twinkling. "How's everything going?"

"Good, really good," Cassy replied, trying to push aside her worries about Lando's recent behavior. "I'm finally feeling better."

"That's great to hear," Charles said, raising his glass. "To Cassy's health and Lando's success on the track!"

They clinked glasses, and the conversation flowed easily. They talked about the upcoming race, shared funny stories, and reminisced about past adventures. However, Cassy couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Lando seemed distant, his mind clearly elsewhere.

---

In reality, Lando was working on a surprise for Cassy. He had planned a relaxing getaway for them after the race, hoping it would be a perfect way to celebrate their pregnancy and spend some quality time together. He had been coordinating with hotels and travel agents, ensuring everything was perfect.

However, he didn't want to reveal his plans just yet. He wanted it to be a complete surprise. But his secretive behavior had unintentionally raised Cassy's suspicions.

---

As the evening wore on, Cassy found it harder to ignore her doubts. She excused herself to go to the restroom, needing a moment to gather her thoughts. Alexandra, sensing something was wrong, followed her.

"Cassy, is everything okay?" Alexandra asked gently.

Cassy sighed, leaning against the sink. "I don't know. Lando's been acting so strange lately. He disappears for hours and doesn't want to talk about it. I can't help but feel like he might regret the pregnancy."

Alexandra placed a reassuring hand on Cassy's shoulder. "Oh, Cassy, I'm sure that's not it. Lando loves you so much. Maybe he's just stressed about the race."

"I hope you're right," Cassy said, trying to believe her friend's words. "But I can't shake this feeling."
