Dear Journal,
Guess what? Margot and I actually made friends. You know, apart from each other.
We were working outside in the courtyard on our first homework assignments of the year and a Hufflepuff boy, a Ravenclaw boy, and a Ravenclaw girl walked over to us. The Hufflepuff is Samson Scamander, the Ravenclaw boy is Bo Chang, and the Ravenclaw girl is Louisa Edgecombe.
They asked us if we were working on the essay set out by Professor McGonagall and then they asked if they could study with us. Of course, we said yes, and now we're all planning on going to the next Hogsmeade weekend together. I'm super excited.
