Almost 2 years later

Adelia pulled into a parking space and parked her car. Look up at her home for the next two years.

It wasn't easy for her to get here balancing making time for God, school, practice, and competitions. But she made it and she can only thank God for it.

It has been almost two years since Callum and James went back to college. It's been almost a year since Callum and Adelia have had an actual conversation.

They started out good FaceTiming and texting each other but both of them started getting busier. First, they went days, then weeks, and then months without talking. They checked in with each other every now and then but other than that they haven't talked.

Plus Callum hasn't been back to Ohio since he left. He wasn't able to come home on holidays and he and his family went to Italy for breaks to spend time with his sick grandma who passed about a month ago. Ever since Callum's grandmother died he has been starting to fall back into bad habits. Drinking and partying trying to numb the pain. Callum was really close to his grandma. Her death broke him.

Adelia texts James to let him know that she is here so that he can help her move her stuff that she brought with her into her dorm. She shipped what she couldn't put in her car with her. She managed to get a suite with a small kitchen.

James and Callum were in their off-campus apartment when James got the text from Adelia.

He got up quickly grabbing his stuff and heading to the door. "Where are you going?" Callum asks.

"To go help Adelia move into her dorm." Callum freezes when he hears her name. "Wait Adelia is here? She's going to college here?" He questions. It's been almost two years since the last time he saw her.

"Yeah. Did I not tell you?"

"No, you didn't. I'm coming to help. I'll drive." Callum quickly gets up and grabs his stuff rushing to the door. They get downstairs and head to his car. They get in and drive to the location she sent her brother. When they get there James sends a text to Adelia letting her know that he is here.

Adelia is just sitting in her car waiting when she gets James' text saying that he was here. She gets out of her car and looks around for her brother. When she finds him she walks over to him hugging him. She looks over his shoulder and sees Callum standing there with his hands in his pockets.

Adelia pulls away from her brother and smiles.

Callum walks over to them. "Hey Adelia," he breathes out. "Hi" she looks into his eyes feeling feelings coming back. One's for him and of hurt.

"Ok, brother here. Can we go now?"

"Yeah let's get your stuff," Callum says looking away

"Ok, which building is yours?" Callum asks his eyes following the direction that Adelia points in.

They grab her stuff out of the trunk and follow Adelia to her dorm. She knocks and then opens the door once she hears a come-in.

She walks in and sits her stuff down. She looks up and sees a beautiful redhead with green eyes. "Hi I'm Adelia I'm your roommate," she says holding out her hand.
