Them

The Beginning

The boys had been out at an restaurant when they met Clarity and her two friends, Livy and Brittany. The three girls were sitting in a corner and the four boys were sitting across from them in another corner. 

"Brittany, can you come to the toilet with me?" Livy asked seeming to leave Clarity out.

"Yea. Great timing, I need to use it too." So Livy and Brittany were off to the toilets while Clarity sat alone waiting for her friends. Most people would notice if a blond and very attractive boy was standing next to your table, but of course, Clarity didn't seem to notice.

"I couldn't help but notice you sitting alone. My name is Luke, what's yours?" Clarity had finally noticed the boy and looked into his dreamy, blue eyes.

"Oh um hi...my name is Clarity. Sorry I didn't notice you, I daze off sometimes. Yea my friends had to use the toilet so I'm just waiting for them to get back. If you don't mind me asking, why are you here and not at your table." She couldn't think of anything else to say. She was mesmerized by Luke's eyes and lips.

"My friends didn't care if I left them for a second. You looked so beautiful and I couldn't not take the chance to meet you, so I decided to come over. Your hair is really pretty. I like that you don't dye it. It's perfect." Clarity didn't look like it, but she was blushing.

"Thanks. Aren't you in a boy band or something? I recognize the hair and voice." She had known for sure it was the Luke Hemmings she had loved.

"First, it's not a boy band. Second, yes. I'm in the band 5 Seconds of Summer, the rest of the band is over in the corner. Do you and your friends want to meet them?" 

"Um, maybe.It just depends on what my friends what to do. I sure would like to though.I love your music, it's amazing." Clarity had known that her friends wanted to meet the band. Who wouldn't? They talked until Livy and Brittany came back to the  table, and when they did, they acted like total idiots. They were the biggest fan girls anyone there had seen. 

"Are these your friends, or are they just random girls?" Clarity let out the tiniest giggle. 

"Yea, these are my friends Livy, she's the one with the dyed and short hair, and Brittany, the one with the long hair and AC/DC shirt on. Girls, this is Luke Hem-" Clarity got cut off right when she said Luke.

"Yes I know who he is. Luke, oh my gosh, you are amazing! I can't believe I'm meeting you!" Livy said immediately.

"I'm assuming you like 5SOS then? Do you wanna meet the rest of the band? They are right over there in the corner." Luke said pointing to the rest of the band and smiling at Clarity.

"Of course we want to meet them, but why. You don't usually let fans meet you guys right?" Brittany said as she was jumping up and down.

"Yea we usually don't but you have a special  friend, so you can thank her for this."
