After Clarity, Livy, and Brittany met the band, Luke invited the three of them to dinner with the boys the next night. They all had accepted and would meet at Clarity's house at 6 p.m.

"Clarity, can I ask you for something?" Luke asked nervously.

The truth was, Clarity didn't really know how to respond. She didn't know what he would be asking for and didn't want to upset Luke. "As long as it isn't anything bad, then yes."

Luke stood there for a while as if he was questioning if he should ask or not. Finally he said,"I was wondering if I could have your number?"

"Um, yea you can. I don't see why not. I didn't know the rest of the band was so chill and cool. You guys seem different than  in your videos and how people think you would act." Clarity was glad she changed the subject because she knew if she got his number and something happened between them, it would be all over social media.

"Yea, people aren't always as they seem. oh and by the way, I think the boys like your friends, you never know what could happen. Here's my number." Luke said as he handed her a piece of paper with a number messily written on it. Clarity looked over at her friends. She saw Livy with Michael, Brittany with Ashton, and Calum was all alone. She had felt extremely bad for Calum because he looked like a loner, but he really wasn't. "So I guess I'll see you tomorrow at your place right?"

"Yep. My place 6 o'clock. Doesn't Calum look a little lonely to you? Livy and Brittany are talking to Michael and Ashton. It seems kind of unfair, don't you think?" Clarity explained and asked Luke.

"I guess he does. He's used to it though. Do you want to go sit with him? We could go and sit together instead of all of us standing alone in pairs."

"I think we are going to be leaving soon, but until then, why not." So the two of them walked over to where Calum was sitting. Clarity had sat down first then Luke had sat right next to her as if he was claiming that she was his. "Hey Cal-Pal, how's things?"

"Well, I guess things are going okay. Everyone was having their own conversations so I just decided I'd leave everybody alone and do my own thing. Everybody looked so happy so I didn't want to ruin that." You could tell Calum was sad and lonely by the tone in his voice.

"Hey, Clare, I think we should go home." Brittany said to Clarity.

"Um, okay I'll meet you outside. Get Livy and say bye to everyone." Clarity said to Brittany. Brittany went got Livy. Livy said goodbye to Michael and got his number, Brittany said goodbye to Ashton, got his number, and he walked both of them out.

"Well, your friends are waiting for you so you should go. I'm gonna walk you out okay?" Luke asked Clarity with a smile on his face.

"Yea, you can." They both started walking to leave and Luke looked down at Clarity's hand, and decided to hold her hand. It took a second for Clarity to realize what was happening, but she let Luke do it.

They got to the door and Luke stopped Clarity and himself. "Clarity," he then kissed Clarity on the cheek "I'll see you tomorrow."
