What About Us?

Brittany's P.O.V.

How could Ashton do that to Clarity. It's not fair that someone could make someone else do that to a another person. After talking to Calum, he made me feel a little better. He was always so calm about things, I don't understand how he does it.

"Brit, are you doing okay?" Livy always checks on me when she's worried about me. When she asked, Calum grabbed me and pulled me closer.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Life's gonna go on without Clarity even if I don't like it. We'll all be fine."

"I'm glad you think like that. It will get you somewhere some day." Livy said and walked away.

Calum was being very protective and I wasn't sure why. "Cal, why are you acting weird?"

"I just wanna make sure you are okay." Something is bothering him. He'll be okay, he just wants me there with him. He wants to make sure I can be there for him later on in life.

He grabbed me and jut held me. He felt safe, I could tell. "Calum, I want to make you happy."

"And how would you do that?" He knew exactly where I was going with this.

"Everything I can." I knew exactly what he was trying to do.

"Calum, we can't. Like seriously. I just lost Clarity and I don't need this right now." He looked so disappointed. "I want to but I'm just not ready." I kissed him and he smiled at me.

"That's fine, I'd rather do it when you are ready. I don't wanna push you to do something you don't want to do. Just know I'm here for you and I love you." I couldn't hold back my smile any longer. He made me feel so special. No one has made me feel like this before.

"Calum, did you know that Ashton had feelings for Luke?" He looked at me with a confused expression on his face.

"Well, to be honest, sort of. They always spent time together and were hugging all the time. Michael suspected something but I didn't believe him. I should've though. I could've saved you from a lot of hurt. I don't think Luke knew he had feelings for Ashton though. I think he might've just realized it. Not going to lie, they are perfect for each other."

"Do you think Michael and Livy belong together?" I needed to get information out of Calum when I had the chance.

"I've never seen Michael so happy or act the way he does around her. He really likes her and they will last long, but I don't know if they will be together forever."

"And what about us?"
