What Was Going To Happen

Brittany's P.O.V.

What did he mean by I went and sat with Calum? What happens? I locked the door behind me so stupid Chris couldn't come back in. 

"Brit, what's wrong?" Ashton came over to me and kissed my cheek. I couldn't help but blush.

"Yea I'm okay. I'm going up to my room." I start walking and I see Calum laying on the couch with his phone above his head. I stare for a second and Ashton noticed, I only know he notices because he starts walking with me. 

Once we get up to my room, I lay down on my bed and Ashton turns the T.V. on. He sits on the bed with me and grabs me to pull me closer. He wraps his legs around me and starts kissing my body. "Ashton, we can't do this." I secretly wanted to, but there was no way we could. There are people everywhere. 

*3 hours later when everyone is asleep*

"I'm going downstairs. I'll be back in a little bit." I say to Ashton before I walk out the door to go downstairs. 

Once I get downstairs, I see Calum sleeping on the couch. He looks so adorable...no stop it Brittany. You can't. 

I walk over to the T.V. to turn it off and Calum wakes up. "Hey Brittany. What are you doing out here so late?" Oh my gosh, Calum Hood was talking to me.

"I just heard the T.V. and decided to come to turn it off. I didn't know anyone was awake still. Sorry." 

"Oh it's quite alright. I was lonely out here anyways. Do you want to watch a movie with me? You can pick the movie." What was I about to do.

"Sure. We should watch  'Mean Girls' only if you want to though." Oh no. What Chris said was going to happen is happening. 

"Yea sure, why not? Come sit. We can share a blanket, if you don't mind." Was I really about to do this?

I go and sit down right next to Calum, almost touching him. He puts the movie on and pulls the blanket over the two of us. After about 10 minutes, he moved closer and put his hand on my leg. At first I wasn't sure how to react, but soon enough I let him do it and laid my head on his shoulder.

When the movie was almost over, Calum looked down and saw I was almost asleep.He leaned down, kissed my forehead, and said "Goodnight, princess." 

*The next morning*

I wake up to the sound of fighting. I look up to see Ashton yelling at Calum. Calum sees me, comes to me, and says "Please go back to sleep babe." He walks back over to Ashton. I lay the opposite way so  I can still see what's happening. 

"What were you two doing out here and why? I can tell when you lie Calum." 

"She came out here to turn the T.V. off and I was still awake, so I asked her to watch a movie with me. We watched 'Mean Girls' and we fell asleep. That's it." A lot more than this had happened.

Ashton walked to me and said "Is that really what happened? If it is why?"

I couldn't tell Ashton what really happened. "Yea that's what happened. I did it because... I'm not really sure why I did it. When it happened it just felt right. I'm sorry Ash."

"And who do you choose. Me or Calum. We need to know." I have no idea who I want to be with. I don't want to hurt Ashton, but I like Calum. 

"I like both of you. I don't know who to choose right now." I got up, walked to my room, and locked the door behind me.

*20 minutes later*

*knock knock* "Brittany, it's me, Calum. I just need to talk to you. I don't want to try to make you decide immediately, I just wanna talk, as friends. I'll be waiting outside the door for you. I'll stay out here until you open the door to make sure no one comes in. I want to protect you."
