The Choice

Calum's P.O.V.

After talking to Michael and finding out what he knew, I had to go and talk to Brittany to see where her head was at. I needed to win her over.

"Hey Britt, can we talk?" I knocked on the door and she answered immediately.

"Yea, I really need to talk to you. I don't want to hurt Ashton, I said that I'd always be there for him and yet her I am leaving him." She had chosen me instead of Ashton. I hugged her instead of answering. "Cal, I'm serious how do I not hurt Ashton?" There really wasn't a way not to hurt Ashton, he was going to hurt no matter what happened.

"You should talk to him. Well tomorrow anyway so we can watch Netflix and cuddle." She nodded her head and pulled the cover up. She handed me the remote to turn on a movie. I skipped putting on a movie and just grabbed her and cuddled with her. "Babe, your so beautiful." She made me feel so insecure.

"Thanks, but I'm really not. Everything about me is ugly." How could she think that? I'm 99.99% sure she's the only one that thinks that about her.

"Not at all. Everything about you is perfect in my eyes. You're everything anybody could dream of. Why do you think Ashton and I were fighting over you?" I still can't believe that she sat on the couch with me that night and slept with me. Just slept. Everything that I wanted to happen has already happened and I cannot ask for anything more.

"Calum, I love you. Not just because of your looks but because of the person you have become. You helped me decide who I really wanted to be with without trying to win me over. You have done everything right. I've never really met a guy like you before. You're an idiot sometimes, but in the end, it's worth it. You being who you are is what made me choose you. Ashton is a different person and I like him too, but you complete me." I couldn't help but to lean in and kiss her. She was perfect in everyway and nothing could change that. She was who she wanted to be and made sure that I knew it was ok to be who I wanted to be. She's the only one that can bring out another side to me that I've never seen before.

"I love you too. I'm going to talk to Ashton with you to make sure he understands and isn't mad at you. I need to continue my duty of protecting my queen in her castle."
