Was This a Dream?

Clarity's POV

It seemed as it had been forever before the boys showed up. I was sitting on my bed just waiting for them to show up or at least get a call or a text from Luke. Why wasn't he talking to me? Was he nervous or did he not like me or something?

"Clare?" Brittany walked into her room. Livy, Brittany, and I are all roommates so we could spend the time we needed to together.

"Yep. What's up Britt?" I asked her. Why did she come in my room at only 1 o'clock. She knows I've been waiting for them to show up or for Luke to say something to me. 

"There's something waiting for you outside. You might want to go and check it out." What the heck did she mean by that!

"Um. Okay. Could you possibly tell me what it is? You know I don't like surprises." Why the heck wouldn't she tell me? Ugh now I have to get up. I start to get up and as I start walking, I forgot I left my bass on the ground and tripped, landing right on my face.

I immediately got up and went to go and check what the 'surprise' was. I get downstairs and see a box on the couch with my name on it. I go sit down and decide I need to open it. When I lift the top off the box, I see a note and something that looks like a t-shirt. I get the note and see that it's from Luke. The note says

" Since you like the band, I thought I'd give you a signed t-shirt and a surprise inside the shirt. I'll see you tonight hopefully in your new t-shirt!"

I put the note aside and grab the t-shirt. What a dork! He gave me a shirt with a picture of them on it and signed it right above his head. He took all the space so the other boys had to sign on the back! When I lifted the t-shirt up, four tickets fell out. Why'd he give me four?

I heard a knock on the door, and me being me, I automatically assumed it was Luke and the boys. So I ran upstairs to change into my shirt. Livy got the door and found out it was just her crush, Chris.

"Livy, was that Luke?" I yelled while being out of breath.

"Nope, it was just Chris. He's in the kitchen playing Minecraft. He wants me to watch so shut up now!" Livy said seeming annoyed as always.

Ugh, I ran up here for nothing. I sit on my bed and fall backwards. The doorbell rings again, I think this might be Luke, but I'm not sure so I just sit here and wait.

"CLARITY," I hear what sounds like Brittany's voice " GET DOWN HERE, SOMEONE IS LOOKING FOR YOU!"

I ran downstairs to see Luke staring right at me. "Hey."

"Hey beautiful. How have you been?" My heart starts to race because he called me beautiful.

"I'm good. How about you?" I didn't really know what else to say.

"Just thinking about you. So where are we going for dinner?" Luke asked.

"I thought we could just eat here. I made cheesy potato soup." I was so scared for him to actually eat the food I made. What if he didn't like it?

"Oh yea, sure, we can eat here I don't mind." He winked at me and my heart just melted. This all seemed so crazy. I've had a huge crush on Luke forever and now he's in my house, eating my food, and sitting with me.
