The market was a well-lit place. Even after a week, Seokjin hadn't left the house. He realized how pretty everything in the village was, especially at night. He silently followed Namjoon, admiring the village. Their life was so different from what he had lived till now. He had a line of staff waiting that brought everything for him as soon as he ordered it. He had never gone anywhere without a guard. He had never left the palace just because he wanted to. Whereas here, he could just do whatever he wanted. But what did he really want? He had never thought of the things he wanted to do apart from his duties as an emperor.

As they found a table to sit at, Namjoon went to one of the vendors and placed their orders. He came with the food in his hands and sat before Seokjin. "Sorry about Harry. She can be a little rude at times."

Seokjin shrugged, "She must like you a lot."

Namjoon chuckled, "There is a difference between being obsessed and liking someone. She doesn't like me. She just wants to have me for herself."

Seokjin pursed his lips. "Well, if she was nice, I would have told you to go after her. She looks pretty and is the daughter of the doctor, who is well respected around the village. It was a good match. Too bad she has a bad attitude."

Namjoon raised his eyebrows, "Are you really setting up your husband with another girl?"

"Fake husband." Seokjin pointed out, "You can't be with me all your life. You've got to have a life out of your duties. And your contract ends in about a month, too. Also, it is good for your social status."

Namjoon shook his head, "If you are so worried about my social status, then why haven't you married yet?"

Seokjin hummed, "I have not found a perfect match yet."

Namjoon raised his eyebrow, "And what is a perfect match for you?"

Seokjin put his spoon down and thought for a while. After a bit of thinking, he looked at Namjoon, "Someone who can handle not only me but also the empire and Jimin. Obviously, I don't want someone to compete with me, but I would like it if they took some things off my plate."

"Did you even search for a man like that?"

Seokjin chuckled, "Why do you think I would only marry a man? You have escorted like one man out of my room."

"More like threw him out." Namjoon countered.

Seokjin laughed a little. Namjoon titled his head, admiring Seokjin's laugh. He had rarely seen Seokjin laugh so freely. Seokjin looked at Namjoon with a lingering smile, "Right. Anyway, I am bisexual. But there are not any people out there who can understand my standing. They see the shimmers of my title and want to be the king or the queen. They aren't interested in any of the responsibilities that come with the title. And then there is Jimin. I don't trust people enough to tell them about Jimin."

"You will have to trust someone with him," Namjoon said, wondering if Seokjin knew about Hoseok and Jimin. An idea flashed into his head. He smirked a little, "It's good that he has at least Hoseok."

Seokjin narrowed his eyes and sighed, "You are right. At least he has Hoseok."

Namjoon didn't expect that reaction from Seokjin. He thought Seokjin would ask hundreds of questions about him, not mentioning anyone else. "You know about them?"

Seokjin laughed a little, "Of course! I am their emperor. Do you really think that something like that would go unnoticed? Hoseok's regular visits to Jimin's room, that too in the middle of the night, can not be just making sure he was okay."

Namjoon narrowed his eyes, "And you are okay with them being together?"

Seokjin shrugged, "They are a good match. I trust Hoseok enough not to say anything. I was waiting for them to confirm it themselves. It's a shame that they don't trust me enough to share such an important detail of their life with me."
