Two hours before the blast

"Okay." Jungkook hummed, "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone." Jungkook waited for the other person to finish talking. "Yeah, I will take care of him. Don't worry. You should take care of yourself, too." He cut the call and turned back to find Jimin standing there. Jungkook got a little scared. Did he hear everything that was said on the call? He is not supposed to know that Hoseok was poisoned. It would be difficult for him to handle Jimin if he knew what happened.

Jimin was fidgeting with his fingers.

Jungkook blinked a little, "What happened, Jimin hyung?"

Jimin shook his head, "It's nothing. I just wanted to apologize. For the way I talked to you that day."

Jungkook chuckled, "You don't have to apologize, Jimin hyung. I know you want to be in public. And I am not against it. But we just need to be careful. I want to wait for Hoseok-nim to be back."

Jimin smiled a little, "I know. I talked to Taehyung and he explained that he is not exactly happy with his fame. And then I thought about it. I know why hyung has kept me hidden all these years. But it is suffocating. I don't want to be famous. But I at least want to be able to move around freely."

Jungkook nodded, "I know. I know how it feels when you have to be in hiding. I will try my best to ask for some leniency from his majesty."

Jimin shrugged, "Anyway, let's eat out today. I am craving pizza."

"Sure." Jungkook took out his phone, "Let me call Taehyung hyung, too. I am sure he will come along."

Everyone flinched as the car that Seokjin was supposed to board blew up. Before anyone could think, there was a cry from Seokjin. Namjoon immediately turned to him and found that someone had stabbed him in the waist, and there was a huge cut there. His entire white suit started turning red. Seokjin turned around and grabbed the knife out of the attacker's hand, and buried it in his neck. Namjoon clenched his jaw and stopped a hand before it could stab Seokjin again.

"I should have known better." He said as he clenched his teeth.

There was another cry, but this time it was from the attacker. Namjoon twisted his hand, and before he could react, Namjoon threw him at a considerable distance. He looked at Seokjin. Seokjin was covering his wound, but it wasn't working. The entire team was distorted. There wasn't anyone that Namjoon could trust. He went to Seokjin, covering him from the front to make sure there was no further attack. "We need to run. Can you run on your own?"

Seokjin nodded. His expression turned to shock when Namjoon got hit hard on his back by an iron rod. He gasped loudly, "Namjoon!"

Namjoon flinched but he chuckled after, "Should have aimed higher." He snatched the rod from the attacker and hit him on the head. Namjoon took Seokjin's other hand and started running. He found a bike with the key still in it. He immediately took the bike and looked at Seokjin, "Hop on." Seokjin winced a little while getting on the bike. He circled his hands around Namjoon's waist as Namjoon raced through the streets.

As he raced through the city, Seokjin recognized the roads. Namjoon was going to the palace. Suddenly, there was a gunshot, and the bike slipped. Namjoon tumbled across the street and hit his head on a rock. But his main concern was Seokjin. He rushed to Seokjin and held him in his lap, "Seokjin, are you alright?"

Seokjin groaned and nodded, "I am fine." He looked at Namjoon and gasped, "Namjoon, blood." He wiped Namjoon's head with his fingers.

Namjoon shook his head, "Don't worry about me." He looked around to see if he could find the person who fired the bullet. When he didn't find anyone, he immediately helped Seokjin to get up and ran right into the forest near them. The forest started getting denser as they ran further into it.
