Gohan looked around, trying to figure out where he had suddenly appeared. The green hills and fields of grass gave it away: he was in the same place as when he fought Vegeta and Nappa.
He whipped his head around to see the two Saiyans standing a few yards away. Just then, Nappa fired a ki blast to the left of Gohan. He turned his head to see Piccolo receiving the full force of the attack. He fell to the ground, lifeless.
Gohan let out a scream, not of anger, but of sadness and pain. He tried to attack the saiyans but some force was keeping him in place. He watched as Nappa killed his other friends Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu. The way Nappa brutalized the z fighters made Gohan begin to cry. Just then, he heard Krillin call out Gohan's name. He turned to see Krillin being telepathically held by none other than Frieza. He watched as his friend flew up into the air and exploded.
"Gohan, you're the only one who can save us! You're the only one who can save me!" A distant voice spoke to Gohan.
"Dad?" Gohan asked, "Is that you? Where are you?"
Gohan looked around to see his father, Goku, being choked by Cell.
"GOHAN! HELP ME!" His father strained voice managed to call out to his son, before his neck snapped and his body went limp.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Gohan screamed, before finally waking up.
