Chaerin's POV

I was supposed to get something from the sports club team, but here I am, watching a really unexpected scene for the day. Hyunjin is currently being scolded by a woman, whom I didn't know.  I am not even sure if they are related.

"I am Prince Hyunjin from Hwang Clan. Our duty is to be responsible for the safety and security of the royal families. No matter what the circumstances are-" Hyunjin stopped as his voice broke

"Every second is important to us. We shouldn't waste our time. Royal families our first priority." she said

Hyunjin closed his eyes.

The woman sighed, "Felix will tell you where the funeral will be held."

He hurriedly left the room, leaving me and the girl.

"I am Hwang Sena. Older sister of Hwang Hyunjin." she told me as she smiled

I bowed, "Your highness. I am Ahn Chaerin."

"Ahn Chaerin, you look like someone I know." she whispered, but I clearly heard it.

"Really?"

She smiled at me, and said "Do you want to have some coffee? I badly needed some."

I just nodded.

We both went to a cafe nearby because I still have something to do after this. She ordered for us, telling me that she wanted to suggest some drink for me and she looks sure that I will like it.

Well... I did like it.

"Are you sure? You can be honest. I don't bite." she chuckled

"Yes. I really like this one."

"I knew someone who loves that coffee too. He is the only one. Believe me or not. I asked others to taste that coffee but they didn't like it." Sena said

I just smiled.

To be honest, it's still awkward for me after what I have seen. I never expected that, and I am not really expecting that she's really talkative... and somewhat nice.

"Are you friends with Hyunjin?" she asked

I nodded, "I became close to them because of Prince Felix. They were all nice and caring towards me."

She smiled and nodded, "They all are."

"Are you and Hyunjin not close?"

Sena sipped her coffee.

"Sorry. I just thought about after seeing what happened earlier."

"When I say we're siblings, that means we spent all of our years with each other. I grew up with him. We were so close, we protect each other, we teach and learn from each other." Sena said

"Were? That means-"

"Hmm... When my training started getting serious and I started accepting duties, I didn't have enough time for him. I don't even go home. Hyunjin started training as well, and attending classes. We both are busy and didn't have time." she added

I nodded.

"Our duty is to protect the royal family. That means everything around us is considered danger, and no matter what, we have to sacrifice our lives. We train ourselves even though we get hurt. We have to." Sena

"No other option?"

Sena shook her head, "Our parents are assigned to protect the royal couple and I am protecting Felix at the same time. They got into an accident, so I have to accept their duty, and Hyunjin will have to protect Felix. That means not enough time for you and Hyunjin to hang out with each other."

"We don't hang out that much-"

"Well, he likes you. I can tell. Anyway, how is Hyunjin as a friend?" she asked

I told her everything. How I met Hyunjin. How he is treating me, and everything he does for me. It will all come down to one word, kind. Sena seems not to believe everything I told her.

"Hyunjin is not the type to cry easily. Unless something triggered him so much, like earlier. I know he has a lot of friends, but not all can make him open up. For sure he is having a hard time and needed someone at the moment. Can you stay by his side?" Sena

What should I say? I mean...

"If there's someone he needs at the moment, I'm sure it was you."

Sena smiled at me and sighed, "Chaerin, he can't lean on a person who is shattered into pieces. He is already wounded, I don't want to make it worse."

After that conversation with her, she left because she has something to do. I went back to the University to finish everything I needed. However, there was an announcement that we all need to go to the school gym.

"Chaerin, let's go." Jeongin said

We all went there, and all of the students are there too, even the faculties and staffs of the University. I am sure this is about Hyunjin's parents, they are a royal family too.

"I am here to deliver a bad news... the royal couple of Hwang clan has passed away in an accident. Let's all take a moment of silence for them..." the dean announced. He started talking about them and how he felt at the moment.

I left the school gym to find my phone in our club room. As soon as I found my phone, I hurriedly left the room- I saw the door of sports club room is open. I know I'm not supposed to copy some main characters in a horror movie, instead of running, they are trying to go near the ghost.

I was about to close to the door but I found Hyunjin lying down on the sofa while his eyes were staring at the ceiling.

I sat down in front of their room to wait for him.
