Chaerin's POV

"Lee Felix! I will go now!" I shouted to be sure that he will hear me

I left the apartment while I'm listening to a song with what Hyunjin gave me the other day. He said it was a welcome gift and I should expect more from him.

I saw Hyunjin walking to the University and he seemed to be busy looking at his phone, "Hyunjin-"

He walked straight to Aina who is standing in front of the University. She seems annoyed of him and he i having fun teasing him. They look good together though.

"Yah! Why would you leave me?" Felix asked as he stood beside me

"Look. It's Hyunjin and Aina. They look good together."

"No, they don't." he said

"What?"

He put his arm on my shoulder and stared into my eyes, "No couple looks good more than us. Remember that."

"Huh?"

"They are leaving." Felix said referring to Hyunjin and Aina who got in the car and left, "Are they going to cut classes?"

"I think so. They look cool than us now." I said and went inside, leaving Felix alone

As I was walking to the classroom, I saw Sujin reading something while sitting in front of our classroom.

"Sujin!"

He looked at me and smiled, "Hi, Chaerin!"

I sat beside him and looked at the book, "Who gave you that?"

"I bought this earlier. I don't want to disturb anyone later during class." he said

"Oh. How nice of you. Anyway, I'm planning to attend the orientation of the org that I'm going to join. Do you want to come with me?"

"Sure." he said and stood

I looked at his face properly, trying to analyze if there is something suspicious with him like what Felix said. Now, I can tell that he looks clueless, in general.

"Are you also from a royal family?"

"No. Why?" Sujin

"Nothing. I just don't like people surprising me."  I smiled at him

We both went to the room where the orientation will happen. Sujin and I sat beside each other. The orientation started and they kept telling us things we should be aware of, or things we have to do while in this team.

"I have heard from someone that you are Felix's personal assistant?" Sujin whispered, enough for me to hear it

"Yes- why are you asking? Are you plotting something?" I raised my eyebrow as a joke

"What? No. I'm not even interested with the Prince. Anyway, what did your parents tell you? I mean their reaction knowing that you have to stay in the palace?" Sujin

"Nothing, I don't have any parents. I never met them. I grew up in an orphanage ever since I was a baby."

Sujin gave me a nod, "Well, if you were given a chance, would you want to meet them?"

"I am not sure. I have to think about that."

"I will bet on my life that your Mom and Dad will want to meet you, and would be so happy to see their daughter." he said and smiled at me

"I hope so-"

"Excuse me, where do I sign for this organization?" Felix asked as he entered the room

What the hell is he doing here?

"Your highness, another member will assist you." the head of the organization said

Felix and I caught each other's eyes, but we both rolled our eyes.

What the heck?

"Why the hell did you join?" I asked Felix who is currently sitting beside me

"I realized I should. What's your problem?" Felix asked

"Whatever. Message me if the class will start. I'll just walk around."

He nodded.

I left the classroom, carrying my books. I am not sure where I am going. I entered the locker room to put the books that I'm not going to use for the next class-

"Sujin?" I whispered to my face as I saw a familiar figure standing not far from where I am. I walked slowly to surprise him-

"Ahn Chaerin is in the same class as me." he said

- and that stopped me.

"I tried getting to know her but she is always with other people. I'm trying to find a good timing to get to know her deeper. Well... It's not easy. It seems like she doesn't care anymore about her parents. She gave me short answers, and the answer that everyone already heard. I know." Sujin

I am confused. Why is he talking about me?

If he is not interested with Felix, then he is plotting against me? Am I wrong?

"I will tell her about her parents, but for now, I have to get to know her more. Her parents wanted to see her so bad. I am trying to do that. I just can't rush her to tell me other things about herself."

What? Sujin knew my parents?

My parents are alive.

"Yes. I will make sure that they will meet Chaerin." Sujin said

I hurriedly left the locker room.

As soon as I left the room, I broke into tears. My heart is hurting so bad, and it feels weird. My parents were alive all this time.

What is happening?

"Hey, I've been texting and calling you but you weren't answering. Where have you been?" Felix asked as he saw me walking in the hall

I stayed quiet.

"Are you crying?" he asked as he saw my tears

I looked away and wiped my tears.

He hugged me, "It's okay. Whatever is happening, it will be okay."
