I am here in the living room waiting for Chaerin to come out of her room. I was waiting for her for almost an hour. She said that I should wait for her and we should go together.
"Sorry. It took so long." she said as she came out

"What's with the outfit?"
"What? Does it look bad?" she asked, looking worried.
I ignored her and left the apartment.
Looks good on her.
We were allowed to wear civilian clothes, due to some announcement that we will be having our new design of uniforms. We don't know until when we are allowed to wear what we want, but students are for sure happy with the announcement.
"Why didn't you wait for me?" she asked as she walked beside me
"I waited for almost an hour for you to finish-"
"And yes, I said that so we can go together but you left me. Anyways, I have your schedule for this week." she said while looking at the paper she is holding
"Chaerin."
"Huh?" she answered without looking at me.
"They said to wear appropriate clothes, what's with yours?"
"Lee Felix." she called while glaring at me
"What? I was asking. You don't have to answer if you don't want to."
We entered the elevator and there was this unexpected feeling, knowing that I am in a very small space with her only. No sounds can be heard, only our breaths-
"What is happening?" she asked as she panicked
The elevator is broken- I think?
"Just stay calm-"
"How can I calm down?! It's broken. I'm gonna die. Am I gonna die? Are we gonna die? Oh my gosh. No. I can't die. I don't want to die." she said
"We are not going to die. Don't worry."
Suddenly, she became quiet. I looked behind me and found her crying quietly, trying hard not to let me hear it.
"What are you crying about? We are safe. It's fine-"
The lights turned off.
She cried even more.
I held her arm so she will feel that I am beside her, "We are going to be fine. Nothing will happen. You are not going to die."
"What if they won't notice?" she asked
"Chaerin, I'm sure they will. They have cctvs everywhere, and they saw us enter this elevator. Don't worry."
She still cried.

It's been 30 mins since we are stuck in the elevator, and we are still here. We are both sitting down as we wait to be rescued.
Chaerin is holding my arm to make sure I won't go anyway. She is too scared to be stuck in small spaces like this.
"Ya. Do you know I had this weird dream? You, your friends, royal couple, and some people were involved in it. What surprised me is that they exist." Chaerin said
"What happened?"
"I was your personal assistant, we fell in love with each other, which is so unexpected. We were so happy but we ended everything quickly for some reason." she said
"A reason like?"
"You becoming the King and needs to marry someone. What's funny is that I ended up marrying Hyunjin, but you didn't marry anyone. It continued in a different setting, Hyunjin and I were already married but things were a bit off. It's like we fight a lot. Then, you came and we got in touch again because of a volunteer work." she chuckled
"So, we had an affair?" I laughed.
"It seems like that. Anyways, many people died in my dreams and it was so painful. It ended about us being with each other. I even woke up and kept calling for you... And it was all a dream." Chaerin
"Disappointed much?"
"What?! No! Duh!" she rolled her eyes
"If you say so."
She became quiet.
"Who died?"
"Hyunjin did. Your parents." she answered
"Reason?"
"Your uncle and cousin who wanted the throne." Chaerin
"Even in your dream, they do dangerous things to us just to get the throne."
How funny that they were also in Chaerin's dream, and even killed people just for the throne. I don't know if they can do that in real life, but I know they wanted the throne.
"Ahn Chaerin. What was I like in your dream?"
"The same Felix I am with, right now. It's like a dream starting over again." she answered
"What if your dream will come true? People wanting the throne, you marrying Felix, my parents dying-"
"And us being together?" she asked
"I guess."
"That is possible if this happened years ago. However, it's been years and I lost my feelings for you. I mean I was distant to you and even gave up being your personal assistant-" she stopped talking as she realized
"What? So that is connected to why you left your position? Because you have feelings for me? Wow! Okay?! It makes sense now."
"I... That's not what I meant." she said
"You already said it. Don't even try to change the story. Anyway, I-" the lights turned on and the door opened.
"Your majesty!" the hotel staff panicked as he saw me, and a lot of them came to help me, "Are you okay?!"
"I am. Don't worry. I'm late."
"I'm sorry about what happened." he said
"Nothing wanted that to happen."
Chaerin and I walked to the university. Then she suddenly stopped which made me stop as well and looked at her.
"Why?"
"I don't want that dream to happen." she said
"Why? Do you hate me that much?"
"You are in pain in my dream, and I don't want to witness that again." then she walked away.
