3rd person's POV

Hwang Daehyun, and Hwang Yeona.

An hour passed, the funeral for Hyunjin's parents is open for people to pay for respect. A lot of people came, ordinary people, those who don't belong to other royal clan.

Some cried a lot, some even said their prayers. Everyone paid so much respect for the late Hwang Daehyun and Hwang Yeona. A lot of people left flowers and some letters for them.

Queen Freya and King Jacob personally went to the states to take the ashes of the late royal couple to Korea. They wanted to hold a funeral for the couple who protected them and are willing to sacrifice everything for them.

Everyone arrived, even other people from different royal clans. They all paid their respect to the royal couple, while Hyunjin and Sena were standing at the side. Felix's family were the last to pay respect, no matter their rank. They bowed twice to the deceased, and once for Hyunjin and Sena. Next to arrive is the Ryu Clan, they did the same. Paid their respect to the deceased and the mourners.

No eulogies in korean traditional funeral, but the Queen Freya wanted to say something to everyone about the couple.

"Indeed, a lot of people came as expected. I am sure Yeona and Daehyun did a lot of good things to you all that will be in your memory. Late Hwang Daehyun and Hwang Yeona, I have known them for years. Even before when King Jacob was still courting me. I became friends with them and they were protecting us at the same time. I am more than grateful that I met them." Queen Freya said, and was followed by King Jacob.

"Their passing was unexpected. I have known them for years, and I know how smart they are. I am certain that they knew that was going to happen. As someone they are protecting for decades, enemies who wanted to get rid of me, was so mad at Yeona and Daehyun. They can't even throw a punch at the couple..." he said that made everyone chuckle, "We call them the super wonder couple. Our very own version of superman and wonder woman. No doubt with that."

Sena was the next to stand and tell her message, "Our pledge was about duty and responsibility no matter the circumstances are. I flew to states to get them cremated, and went back to Korea after. Why? I have to protect someone, and that's my duty. I had no time to cry and mourn. I had to be strong. Only myself knows that I shattered into pieces after hearing that my parents are dead. I froze, but I had to be strong."

Ryu Minki from Ryu Clan, he was staring at Sena who is sitting not far from where he is. He knew her, and spent wonderful and memorable years with Sena. Why? They were in a relationship.

Hyunjin didn't speak and was just staring at his parent's ashes. He grew up having the best family. They had the freedom to go somewhere and bond. They watched movies together, drove everywhere. He had the best memories with them.

After hours, the funeral ended. They were brought to a columbarium which was requested by the royal couple. Everyone is leaving one by one, until Hyunjin is the only one there.

Sena was standing outside her car when Chaerin went to her, "Were you waiting for Hyunjin? I will wait for him."

"Are you sure?" she asked

Chaerin nodded.

She thanked Chaerin and left.

Chaerin went back to where their ashes are, she saw Hyunjin standing there and no expression can be seen from him.

"Mom. Dad. You promised that when I will marry someone, you'll be there." he said that broke his voice.

Chaerin was standing not far from him.

"You said when I finally have kids, you guys will take care of them. You two promised that we will plan every birthdays that will come to us. You two said that I will hear the story on how you two met. Mom, I can't sleep properly. Dad, I can't do the skill." Hyunjin started crying so loud as he kneeled in front of them, "Mom. Dad. I need you both. Please come back."

That broke Chaerin's heart. She wanted to hug him so bad but she stayed put. Instead, she sat by the door and listened.

"I had a dream. I married the most beautiful person I know. We were so happy. Everything was perfect. We have the jobs we both wanted. We have a house, cars. It was so perfect. You guys were there too. That dream. I have dreamed about that twice. That was also the only time I had enough sleep." Hyunjin said

Chaerin stayed.

"It was so perfect that I don't even care if she loves me or not. All I know is I had the perfect life with her. I woke up and I realized that I wanted to be with her. Everyday, I kept falling in love with her. If the time comes, I will marry her." he chuckled

That made Chaerin smile.

"Mom. Dad. I don't need to know how you guys met and fell in love. All I know is that you two love each other every minute that passes by. I found mine." Hyunjin

She stood up and was about to leave-

"It's Chaerin. I love her every minute that passes by."
