Aina's POV

"Aina!" the maid called and kept knocking on the door

I lazily sat on my bed and yawned, "Why?"

"It's already 8:30 am!" she answered

That woke me up. 8:30?! I am late for my first class. My gosh! I hurriedly took a bath and wore my uniform. Why the hell didn't I wake up?

I went downstairs and found the maids cleaning up all the leftover foods on the table. My family probably left early.

"We were trying to wake you up but you weren't opening your door. We lost the key of your room." the maid said

"I'm sorry. I slept so late that I didn't even realize that I didn't set my alarm." I whined and pouted

"You should hurry and leave. You are so late." she said

I just took the food they prepared for me and got in the car. Our family driver arrived 30 minutes ago which is a good thing because he will be able to drive me to the university.

"Where did Mom and Dad go?"

"Your mother and father are going to meet the King and Queen." driver said

"Why is that? They never mentioned it."

"I'm not sure, Princess Aina." he answered

Aside from the Lee Clan, there are several royal families from different clans as well. King Jacob and Queen Freya were the ones to lead the country, while we are going second in terms of clans.

"We're here, your highness." driver said and parked the car

"Thank you!" I hurriedly got out of the car

I entered the university and ran in the hallway as fast as I can. I don't want to be late on my second class, I already missed my first class.

"I think-" Minho?!

We bumped into each other that caused me to fall on the floor. I heard reactions from his friends, if I'm not mistaken, Jeongin and Changbin were with him, and Hyunjin of course.

Instead of helping me, Minho just looked at me and started walking away. What a prince.

"Are you okay?" Hyunjin asked

"Yes."

"Let me help you." he said and helped me stand up. He even picked up my bag and books.

"Thank you." I said as soon as he handed me my things

"I'm sorry for how Minho acted. He is really just not in the mood. You know he is the one assigned to-" Hyunjin

"But we all came from our own clans, royal families. Why is he acting like he is the one leading the country?"

Hyunjin chuckled.

"I like him even though it's impossible for him to like me. I will keep on liking him, your friend."

"Keep liking him. You're doing great." he said and tapped my arm

"Fuc-" I turned my arm away before he even continued tapping it

He stopped laughing and grabbed my arm, "What is this? Why do you have a bruise on your arm?"

"That's nothing."

"Let's go." he said and tried to pull me with him

"I'm not going anywhere. I have to attend my next class."

"But you have a bruise-" Hyunjin

"It's just a bruise. It won't kill me."

"What?" he looks confused

"If Minho will get married to someone else, that will be the cause of my death."

"As what I have said, during that era-" our professor stopped talking as he saw me raised my hand, "Yes?"

"May I go to the powder room?"

"Take your time." he said

I left the classroom.

In this university, we are all being treated equally. Students were getting punished if they have done something wrong, no special treatments to us from royal families.

"I'm glad you came." the woman in front of me said

"You said you would stop doing this if I give you my atm card-"

She slapped me hard, "But it stopped working! Your card is not working! Are you trying to fool us now?!"

"Yah! Do you think you can fool us?" another girl said and took out her phone. She started ripping my uniform while taking videos.

I can't even move a bit. All I am doing is cry and telling them to stop-

"This will help us take anything from- Yah!" the girl shouted

"What do you think you're doing?" it's Hyunjin

"You! Give that back!" she shouted

He dropped the phone on the floor and stepped on it until it breaks, "I am not a school officer for nothing. I don't tolerate this kind of treatment. Yah. Just so you know she came from a royal family."

The girls look so mad at Hyunjin. They glared at me and then left.

I started crying louder as soon as they left.

Hyunjin took off the blazer of his jacket and covered me with it, "Yah. Why would you not wear your blazer?"

"It's hot."

"What kind of excuse is that? You were late. You probably forgot. How many times do I have to remind you not to forget your blazer? You didn't change at all." he scolded me

I stayed silent.

"Let's go. We need to report them." he said and started walking

"I... I think being in a royal family doesn't really give me an advantage."

He stopped and looked at me, "What?"

"I was being bullied for years even though I'm from a royal clan. What's so good about being a princess?"

"A princess should be brave enough to defend herself." Hyunjin

"I tried."

"Alright. I'll do it for you." he wiped my tears

"What?"

"One of my responsibilities as a prince is to defend a princess, Song Aina." Hyunjin
