Chaerin's POV

It's been almost two days since I found out who my parents are and until now I don't know what to say. It's not because I am mad but because I can't believe that they are royals. I have never dreamed or wished to become part of the royal, I just wanted to find my family.

Two days since Felix kept tiptoeing around me and would try to make everyday fun and full of energy. I can't blame him. I was quiet since we got here and it's because of that big revelation. Felix thought I am mad or sad because of it, I was just thinking.

"Chaerin! Come! I ordered these." he shouted from the living room

I just wore my hoodie and went to him, "What?"

"I ordered these board games. Come play. I'm just really bored and-" Felix

"We have to study, Felix."

"I already did. I will ace the exam, don't worry." he smirked

"I need to study-"

"I'll teach you instead." he said and kept al the board games in a box, then he brought out his notes, "Come here. I'll teach you."

"Felix."

He went to me and held my wrist as he pulled me and made me sit, "Why study alone, if we can study together."

I didn't answer.

He started talking about what was discussed in our class and he seems so good with it. I admit, I thought he was so dumb that he doesn't even want to study anymore but here he is, proving me wrong.

I glanced at Felix and his face mesmerized me. His fair skin, his beautiful eyes, freckles on his face, and that lips. I wonder if people ever wondered if Felix dated someone already? I mean... He is so handsome.

"Stop staring. I might melt." he said

"I'm not staring."

He looked at me, "You are. Why? Was I too handsome for you to handle? Does my looks wanna make you fall for me?"

"No."

"Okay. Fool yourself, Chaerin." he smiled at me

I rolled my eyes.

"Listen." he said

He started again teaching me and he is trying his best to explain how he understood the whole lesson. He is even giving me examples but I can't get my mind off of the fact that he is so handsome and I am here alone with him.

"Did you ever went on a date with someone?"

"Hmm... I did." Felix

"What? With who?"

"I asked my Mom to go on a date with me every year. Why?" he asked

"Nothing. I'm just wondering why aren't you trying to go on a date with someone."

"Really? You're asking me that? If I would go on a date or be in a relationship, I'm quite sure that you will be out of there once that happens." Felix said

"And? What's stopping you? It's not like you wanted me here."

He chuckled, "Okay. If you say so."

"Huh? So you wanted me here?"

"Let's study." Felix

"Give me an answer. Do you want me here or not?"

"Chaerin." he called

"I'm asking a simple question. You should answer."

"I want you here and I don't want to date anyone if it's not you. Clear?" he asked as he made an eye contact with me

And that made me froze. Oh my gosh. I can feel my heart beating so fast that I can hear it really clear. I can't even breathe properly. He does know how to make a girl really crazy over him.

A playful smile appeared on his face as he looked at his notes again. It felt like he is flirting with me and he is having so much fun doing it. Dude. What the fuck? I can die here right now because of what he did to me.

"Do you even know what you're saying?"

"Yes. Why?" he said

"A prince should date a princess-"

"I should date whoever I have feelings with. Besides, you're a princess. Now what? Do you still have any problem?" Felix

"We shouldn't date. We are not allowed. I am your personal assistant and it will ruin your image as the future King."

He stopped what he was doing and faced me, "I can even kiss you in front of everyone. What does my feelings have to do with my image? And you're not my personal assistant anymore."

"What? How come?"

"I'm firing you." he said

"What?! You can't do that! Your mother assigned me to this task and-"

He started dialing someone and he put it on speaker for me to hear, "Mom."

[Felix. What made you call?]

"Can I fire Chaerin as my personal assistant? She is part of a royal clan. She shouldn't be working for me unless she pledged to protect me." Felix said

[Right. Yes. You're right. I will talk to her.]

"Thank you. I will call you later." he said then his Mom ended the call

Why would he even get the Queen involve?

"You believe me now? You're fired. From now on, I am allowed to hang out with you, go on trips with you, eat with you, flirt with you, and date you. Understood?" he asked

"You're crazy. I'm not a toy. Besides, your Mother and I still have to talk about it. Don't be ridiculous."

He went towards me that made me move back, "You think that can stop me? Not really, Chaerin."
