Chaerin's POV

"... and that's the end of our class for today." professor said and smiled at us all, then he looked at me, "Ms. Ahn? Can I talk to you for a few minutes?"

I nodded and hurriedly went to him.

"I am sure you are aware that we had our previous discussions which you missed. I wanted to go back and teach you all of those but we are falling behind. So, I suggest that you ask Jeongin for the notes. I assume you are close to him." he said

"Yes, sir. I will ask him for his notes."

He just gave me some tips to review and left the classroom. Everyone started leaving, so I found Jeongin easily.

"Jeongin!"

"Hey. What did you and the professor talked about?" he asked

"Ah. He told me that I should ask you for your notes if it's okay."

"Of course! But I think I will be able to give it to you tomorrow? If you want it today, you can go with me." Jeongin said

"Sure! I need it as soon as possible."

"Okay-" Jeongin

"Aerin, the car is waiting for us." Felix said as he popped out of nowhere

"I don't think I will be able to go home with you. I have to go with Jeongin for his notes."

His eyebrow raised, "I have my notes too-"

"But the professor suggested Jeongin's notes. I can look at yours later if it's okay with you."

"No." he said and walked away which left me dumbfounded

That crazy- No. He is the prince. I shouldn't talk bad about him even though he can't hear me. Argh! Why did he acted like that?!

"Chaerin!" Jeongin shouted and waved at me, telling me to go to him

I hurriedly went to him, "Let's go."

We got inside his car and he was about to start the car when someone got inside.

"Let's go." Hyunjin said

"Ya. Why are you here?" Jeongin asked

"Why? Can't I? I always go with you and drop me off-" Hyunjin

"That's when you are grounded, but you're not anymore. Will you please get out of the car? We have somewhere to go." Jeongin said

"No. My car is not working." Hyunjin

"Then go with others. Why us?!" Jeongin

"They left already." Hyunjin

"Chan is still here-" Jeongin

"Just drive, will you?" Hyunjin rolled his eyes

I laughed which made him look at me.

"Why?" he asked

"Nothing. I just remembered something funny."

He raised his eyebrow.

We arrived at Jeongin's house; Hyunjin went inside as if it was his own house. Jeongin seems to be unbothered by it, maybe he is used to it.

"Can you check on Hyunjin's car and bring it here?" he asked the two bodyguards

"Yes, sir." bodyguard said and got int Jeongin's car and drove away

"Why? Hyunjin said it is not working."

"Why are you so clueless?" he asked

"Huh?"

"Do you believe him? I don't." Jeongin said and went inside

After having a dinner at Jeongin's house, we stayed for a few minutes and he handed me his notes. We just talked about different things that I need to know about.

"We will be going."

"Thank you so much for visiting." Jeongin smiled at me

"No. I should thank you for letting me come here."

"Let's go." Hyunjin said and went to the door

"Yah. Hwang Hyunjin! You are with Chaerin." Jeongin said and it seems like he is warning him

"I'll bring her home. Don't worry." he answered

"But what are you guys going to ride?" Jeongin asked

"Bus." Hyunjin said

"Yah. Your car is outside, you liar." Jeongin said

Hyunjin looks confused and went outside, only to find his car parked in front of Jeongin's house. We just bid our goodbyes and got in Hyunjin's car.

He even opened the door for me.

As soon as he got in, he drove away, to the palace where is dropping me off on his way home. His car looks like a sports car, the one that is in a car racing event.

"Is it true that you were in an orphanage before you entered the palace?" Hyunjin asked

"Yes. I grew up there and took care of the kids while I was staying in the orphanage. Until now, I am sending them money to support their everyday needs. Plus, the royal family is helping me with it."

He kept asking numerous questions about me and I never hesitated to answer. I mean what's not to tell him, right?

Maybe he just wants to get to know me.

"Have you met your parents- No. Have you heard any news about them?" Hyunjin asked

"I actually heard a lot of things about them, they died, they abandoned me, they separated, or I am not a human and was found at the doorstep of the orphanage."

We arrived in front of the palace, the gate opened as soon as it saw Hyunjin's car. They knew it was him and they are allowed to go inside.

He opened the door for me again, "You're home. Tell Jeongin I drove safely."

"I will." I smiled at him as I got out of the car

"Uh... So-" Hyunjin

"Thank you for dropping me off."

Hyunjin gave me a nod, "Are you busy tomorrow?"

"Not really."

"Great! Can I ask you out on a date?" Hyunjin

"A date?"

"I mean, do you wanna try the new cafe near our university?" he smiled out of embarrassment

Fuck. Why is my heart beating fast?
