" now we're in a world of our own that we've never experienced before . " ⊹˚₊
MOD Lake is only allowing 24 girls into their summer camp this year. How in the world did they manage to choose only 24 students out of 120?
It's a wonder why these girls...
SEOYEON WALKED AROUND the whole building in hopes of finding an entrance. There was no door in sight. However, she figured that this spot near the barbeque area was the entrance to the building.
There was an crack in the white bricks, outlining a big horizontal rectangle. It was probably as tall as the basketball hoop that stood at the other end of the garden.
But the thing is... There was a handprint sort of thing dented into the wall next to it. Seoyeon attempted multiple times, putting her hands against it, but it never worked.
She figured maybe she needed to wait for someone else to arrive to do so. Perhaps someone in specific? She sighed and walked back towards the garden.
I guess i need to do something atleast to pass time while i wait for the others to come... How long will it take for all twenty three to arrive after me, though?
When she had been laying on a deck chair for twenty minutes, about to fall asleep under the sun, her eyes opened immediately and she sat up, startled.
An AI-like sounding voice rang through the speakers that hung on the white building "S2 is now approaching MOD Lake."
Seoyeon's eyes widened as she stood up from the chair. She was nervous. Like, sweating, nervous. "Oh my god." She whispered to herself as she peeked around the corner of the white building.
She tried to look towards the area that she had come from to see if she could see "S2" from afar. A few seconds later, a young girl appeared from the fog and trees, seeming confused and lost.
Seoyeon watched quietly as S2 read another letter. Wait, who put that there? Seoyeon thought, furrowing her eyebrows. Did someone put that there? They had to... How else would another letter appear?
As Seoyeon thought, she heard someone yell, which made her look up, startled. "Hey! What's going on here? Are you "S1"?" The so-said S2 questioned, walking towards her with her eyebrows furrowed.
Seoyeon waited for her to walk closer before pursing her lips and crossing her arms, "Look, i know just as much as you do, alright? I- i guess i am S1." She paused, looking at the girl infront of her. "You're S2?"
The girl wore a shirt that wrapped tightly around her top half and red baggy joggers on the bottom half. She had big eyes and round lips. Her hair was brown, straight and long. Seoyeon thought they could be the same age, maybe.
S2 nodded hesitantly, "Did you get a letter, too?" She asked as she motioned towards the bit of paper in her own hand.
Seoyeon nodded, "Yeah." She held up her own, which was folded neatly now, "I would show you, but we're not supposed to reveal our names, right?"
S2 hummed, "Yeah, i guess you're right. But... Can i ask how old you are?"
"Twenty. '03 liner. What about you?" Seoyeon asked as she walked back towards the garden. S2 followed behind, her eyes widening in the process. As Seoyeon heard her gasping behind her, she chuckled and glanced back at her, "It's cool right? I wonder what it's like in there." She pointed towards the white building.
"Yeah... It's... Something." S2 replied, still in awe.
Seoyeon looked up at her as she lay on a deck chair, "You didn't answer me, by the way."
S2 shook her head, "Oh, right. Sorry." She paused, "So, you're my unnie, huh?" She chuckled, "I'm seventeen. '07 liner."
Seoyeon's eyebrows raised and she sat up, "You're seventeen?! I thought you were the same age as me." She sighed as she lay back in her chair. "You seem pretty mature."
S2 hummed, "I get that sometimes." She sat on one of the deck chairs, beside Seoyeon. "So what exactly did it say on your letter? You don't have to tell me anything that i can't know, of course, but did it tell you that you have to lead the rest of us?" She asked, her eyebrows knit together.
Seoyeon glanced at her and pursed her lips. She nodded, "Yes, i'm aware." She said, sighing, "I'm worried there's going to be people older than me or more capable of leading than me... Anyways, i don't even know what kind of things i will have to lead us through." She turned her head to look at S2, "I really have no idea about what i'm doing."
S2's sympathy showed on her face as she spoke, "I'm pretty sure the rest of us are coming in here blindly aswell as you, unnie." She lay back on her chair, "I'm not sure who'll walk in here, but if it gets too hard, i'll be here to help you!" She smiled and gave her a thumbs up.
Seoyeon's eyebrows furrowed as she smiled, "Thanks, S2. I really mean it. It's quite the burden to be leading twenty three people, for two months, that i don't even know. Wait... Do you think they'd make another camper a leader aswell as me?"
The pair continued discussing about what they think missions and challenges could be. How dangerous or how difficult. What was in their letters... What kind of people could be walking into this and if they'll get along.
Seoyeon had also told S2 about what she had discovered about the entrance. She had gotten her to try putting her hands against it, but it was no use. Nothing happened.
She started to wonder if it wouldn't open until S24 arrived. Perhaps they would be sitting outside all day until S24 arrived.
Within this time, the two girls were startled when the AI-like voice rang through the speakers again. "Did this happen when i was about to come in?" S2 asked Seoyeon and she nodded.
The voice had announced that S3 was approaching the camp.
