" now we're in a world of our own that we've never experienced before . " ⊹˚₊
MOD Lake is only allowing 24 girls into their summer camp this year. How in the world did they manage to choose only 24 students out of 120?
It's a wonder why these girls...
WHEN EVERYONE WOKE UP the next morning, everyone felt exhausted. Yesterdays outings to the woods must've taken a bit of a toll on them.
"How you feeling, unnie?" S8 asked as she sat on the couch beside S7, careful not to hurt her leg.
S7 leaned closer and lay her head against S8's shoulder, "I... I don't know, it's better than yesterday, i think." She paused, glancing at her leg, "It still hurts like hell."
"Yeah, well, that's kinda what happens when you get stabbed by a tree branch, right?" S8 chuckled, shrugging sarcastically.
S7 rolled her eyes and shook her head. At the motion, S8 looked down at her and blushed slightly, looking away after a second.
"I'm just kidding." S8 mumbled, "I don't like you being hurt."
S7 was about to reply, but a group of girls entered the living room in a loud chatter.
"So, what did you guys ask for?" S10 asked, making everyone else turn quiet, waiting to hear the two older girls' answer, aswell.
"S14 asked for a keyboard and i asked for a Nintendo Switch." S5 shrugged and said simply, walking over to the sofa and sitting down, grabbing the remote for the TV and turning it on.
"You play the keyboard, S14 unnie?"
"S5 unnie! Can i have a shot, please?"
The girls were bombarded with questions. S14 didn't mind it too much, but S5, however, was really bothered. She didn't do much about it, but it was clear that she just wanted to watch some TV.
In the purple room, S2 and S6 were playing a board game in silence.
S6 tried making small talk, but eventually gave up when S2 only replied with one-word answers.
After contemplating with her thoughts, back and forth for minutes on end, she finally mustered up the courage to confront her. "Did i do something to upset you, S2-yah?" She asked, looking at the girl infront of her.
S2 looked at her with an unreadable expression and sighed. She shook her head, "No."
"Don't lie to me." S6 said, "Please... Did i do something wrong?" She asked, her face contorting into sadness.
S2 felt guilty for making her upset. But it was only payback for how she made her feel yesterday. She stared at her as S6 gave her something you would call puppy eyes.
She sighed again, looking up at her through her eyelashes as her head faced downwards, towards the board game, "Yeah, it's your fault."
S6's eyes furrowed as she frowned. She stayed quiet for a moment before swallowing the lump in her throat, "What is?"
S2 shook her head, silently telling her to leave it alone. But when she didn't hear a sound from S6, she blurted it out before she could think about it any longer. "You kissed S12, didn't you?" She asked rhetorically, "How did it happen? You kiss her first?" She asked, slight bitterness laced through her tone.
When it clicked with S6 that the reason S2 might be mad at her was because she and S12 had kissed. But why? She can't be jealous, right? I need to apologise.
"I'm sorry..." She sighed, placing a hand on her face, "I didn't know you liked her. We only did it because i wanted to know what it felt like. I swear, i don't like her like that!" She explained, exasperated.
S2 raised an eyebrow as she sat with her arms crossed, "Like her?" She mumbled to herself. She laughed, "I don't like S12."
The girl stared at her with a confused expression, "What?" She blinked, "Then why were you so annoyed about it?"
S2 sighed, "Oh my god, S6-"
The door to the purple room opened and S12 walked in, "S6, have you seen my left sli-" She stopped as she noticed S2 sitting infront of S6 in some sort of situation.
She smiled sheepishly, "Hehe, sorry. Uh, I'll come back later..." She said quietly before heading back out, closing the door behind her.
S2 turned back around towards S6. The two sat in silence once again.
"It's getting late. I should go to bed." S2 said after a minute, getting up from the floor, "Goodnight, S6."
S6 reached over and grabbed her by the wrist, "But we haven't finished our game yet."
S2 held back the feeling she got when she felt S6's hand against her skin. She looked back at her, "We can finish it tomorrow."
S6 let her go and slumped her back against her bed, "...Okay. Goodnight."
"Night." S2 gave her a sad smile as she walked through the door.
S6 sighed and covered her face with her hands, "Ugh, i'm such an idiot."
As everyone else was getting ready to head to bed, the girls in the green room had already cleaned up and decided to head to bed early.
S19 lay on the bottom bunk with her eyes closed. And closed only. Her mind and body was still very much awake. She tried not moving around too much as she didn't want to disturb S21's sleep.
She sighed loudly, unintentionally, turning around in her bed to face the wall.
"S19-yah?" The girl on the top bunk whispered, her voice sounding very much awake, also.
S19 opened her eyes and lay on her back, "Yeah?"
"You're awake?" S21 asked, turning around to face the barrier of the top bunk.
"Yeah." She whispered, "You can't sleep either?"
"Nope." She whispered back, a small smile forming on her face, unbeknownst to herself.
After a few seconds of rustling bedsheets from beneath, S21 noticed S19 beginning to climb the ladders to the top bunk.
She was going to sit up, but as she did so, S19 used her hand to gently push her back down. "What are you doing?"
She silently crawled over and lay down beside her, wrapping her arm around her waist from behind. "You don't mind if i sleep here, do you?" S19 asked as she lifted the duvet over her own waist.
"I can't exactly say no, now, can i?" S21 joked, taking a hold of S19's hand that sat infront of her stomach.
S19 smirked, "You can't, or don't want to?"
Although she knew S19 was joking, she couldn't help but blush at the fact that she was right. It's not like it was uncomfortable or that she would rather not sleep beside her. Because it was exactly the opposite.
"Shut up." S21 chuckled quietly, "You know the answer."
S19 smiled and hugged her closer, "Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
