18. Trainees

THE NEXT MORNING, S9 and S10 knocked on the door that led to the green room.

When they heard no response, S9 gently opened the door and carefully peeked through. "Oh? Is it just S21 that's still sleeping? Where's S19?" She questioned, S10 shrugging in response.

"Should we wake her up or nah?" S9 looked back at S10, seeking an answer.

S10 shook her head, "Just let her sleep. It's still early anyways."

S9 nodded and headed back out, along with S10.

A few seconds after they had gone, S19 and S21 began giggling as they faced each other on the top bunk.

"What if they saw us? What would we even say? What would they say?" S21 asked, after holding back her laughter.

"What would you want them to say?" S19 asked back in response, reaching towards the girls face and wiping a few strands of hair away from it.

S21 blushed slightly, the mere touch of her skin making her forget to answer. She stammered, "I- Uh..." She swallowed the lump in her throat, "Uh, i'm not sure."

S19 chuckled, "You're cute when you're nervous, you know?" Her hand rested on her cheek.

"Stop saying stuff like that..." S21 mumbled as she avoided eye contact with the brunette.

"Why?" S19 smiled, "You don't want me to compliment you?"

S21 shook her head, "No... I do." She finally looked at her in the eyes and a small blush appeared on her cheeks. "You... You make me feel more seen than anyone else."

It was S19's turn to blush and become nervous, now. She didn't know that she could be so straight forward. "Oh?" She chuckled, "Is that so?"

"I wouldn't have said something so embarrassing if i didn't mean it, stupid." She shoves her away gently and turns over.

S19 eyebrows raise, "Hey, I'm not stupid, stupid!"

S21 just chuckles and sits up, being careful not to hit her head against the ceiling. "Come on, we should eat something."

S19 holds back a smirk and bites her bottom lip to stop a rude joke coming out of her mouth. She follows S21 down the ladders and they both get ready for the day.

Downstairs, in the living room and kitchen... You can call it hectic, i guess. Whatever word comes to mind when i tell you that something was almost set on fire (because someone allowed S5 to control the stove), a few people are having a dance party, and another few were playing an intense game of Mario Kart with the Nintendo Switch that S5 asked for.

Mentioning that, S3, S5 and S14's rewards arrived at the same time this morning.

When Sohyun begun playing the keyboard earlier, she asked anyone if they could sing along to it. To her surprise, the girls that were with her had replied, mentioning that they could.

With this, it wasn't long before the five girls realised they were all trainees. Thus, they began going around the HAUS, asking everyone if they were trainees, too.

"Wait, really?" S10 blinked, "So we're all trainees?" She asked in shock.

S23 nodded entbusiastically, "Yeah!"

"So, do you think it's just a coincidence... Or that we, specifically, are in here for a reason?" S9 quieried, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Nah... I don't think this is just a coincidence, personally." S5 said, looking very in thought.

"You think there's a reason that we're in here? Picked out?" S3 asked S5 as she pursed her lips.

"Yeah." She replied simply with a nod.
