THE NEXT MORNING, S1 woke up at almost 5am. Which made her the only one awake and out of bed at the moment.
She wandered through to the kitchen and opened the fridge, gathering a few ingredients to make something to eat.
For the last day, S1 hadn't been feeling the greatest. It was only a matter of time before someone would start their period and begin the cycle for everyone else.
She groaned, sitting down eventually to eat her breakfast, her eyes still only half open as she did so.
Footsteps approached behind her, but she didn't have the energy to turn around. "Feeling better?" S5 asked, her hand tracing along the edge of the kitchen counter.
S1 glanced over at her as she walked, "A little bit."
"It's quite early." S5 said softly, "I would totally make you something to eat, but everyone has banned me from cooking or baking or... Holding a knife." She smiled sheepishly.
S1 managed a chuckle. It was weak, but effective. "It's okay. I can just make some toast, or something." She shrugged, "You always wake up this early?"
S5 hummed, leaning on her elbows on the counter as she stood, "Yeah."
"Genuinely how?" S1 sighed, lifting herself off of the stool and over towards the toaster.
S5 chuckled quietly, watching the girl put bread into the toaster, "No idea. I always sleep late and wake up early. Maybe that's why i'm never able to give fucks about anything."
Suddenly, a groaning S8 appeared into the kitchen. She clung to the edges of the counter and slumped past S1 and S5 dramatically, "Ughhhh."
"Woah, what the hell is wrong with you?" S1 asked, genuinely concerned for her.
"Stabby cramps." She groaned, "We have hot water bottles, right?" She asked, clinging onto S1's pyjamas, "Please tell me we do, unnie."
S1 grimaced, "S8, please get off of me. Hot water bottles are in that cupboard." She pointed towards a cabinet beneath a counter.
"Life saver." She muttered before reaching towards the cabinet, retrieving a hot water bottle, and then turning on the kettle.
"You start your period, too?" S1 asked S8, looking over at her.
"Mm." S8 nodded, leaning over the counter.
"I guess this is the start of the cycle." S5 sighed, absolutely not excited for her own to come.
Later in the day, at around noon, everyone was relaxing. Wether it be by the pool or inside the haus, they decided to do nothing special today.
"S11, S12, stop that!" S16 called out as she sat by the pool, "You're splashing water everywhere!"
S11 smiled, "Hehe, sorry, unnie..." She then continued to splash S12 with water, but less intense.
"Guys!" S13 yelled as she ran out of the haus and into the garden. Most of the girls turned to look at her, "Look what i found!"
She held up a few water guns, taking the biggest one for herself. "Brace yourselves. I don't play when it comes to games." S13 laughed loudly, heading towards the pool to fill up her gun straight away.
While majority had fun outside, only a few stayed inside.
S7 and S8 sat in the living room, on the sofa. A movie played in the backround, on the tv, but they had both managed to tune it out.
They sat in an embrace, S7 gently rubbing her hand against S8's lower stomach. "You sure you don't just wanna take a nap?" S7 asked, her chin resting upon S8's shoulder.
"No, i'm okay. I'm not tired... I just don't want to do anything." S8 explained, sounding a little defeated.
"Fine by me." S7 said with a small smile, "Not like i can do much anyways."
S8 pursed her lips, "How's your leg, unnie?"
"It's getting better." She replied, her face burried into the crook of S8's neck, "Thanks to you."
Every time S7 would do something like this, S8 always seemed to freeze up. Her body always felt like it turned into liquid, her heart always felt as if it fluttered, and her face would always turn hot.
"T- That's good." She managed to say.
"Yeah." S7 smiled, "I think i'll be able to run again in a few days."
S8 frowned. She didn't exactly like the idea of that. "Isn't that a little too soon, Naky?" She asked, "I... Promise me you won't run until you can actually walk in a straight line without stumbling?"
S7 scoffed, "Hey, i- i can walk in a straight line..." She defended, looking up at S8 with her eyebrows raised.
S8 only stared back at her with pursed lips.
"Okay..." S7 nodded, defeated, "Maybe... I might limp a few times, but i can walk in a straight line!"
S8 laughed, "Were you even able to walk in a straight line before you were injured?"
S7 raised her eyebrows once again and playfully hit her in the arm, "Shut up, Yubin!"
Back outside, a few girls were by the basketball court, not playing a game but, just shooting hoops.
"Unnie, how are you so good?" S22 asked S17, watching her play basketball with her mouth in a perfect 'O' shape.
S17 just laughed as she played. She and S22 begun playing against each other and S21 watched from the side.
S19 walked by and sat beside S21 just outside the court (which was quite small compared to a real sized one).
"Hello." S19 called out, "Looking fine today." She smirked as she also watched S17 and S22 play basketball.
S21 rolled her eyes, but smiled nonetheless. "How many of us have you told that to today?" She joked.
"Two." S19 said with a smirk.
S21 looked over at her with a raised eyebrow, "Who's the other?"
"Me." She replied simply with a shrug, "Every day in the mirror." She flipped her hair back behind her shoulders slightly, a flattered look on her face.
S21 couldn't help but laugh, "You're so..."
"So...?" S19 dragged out her words, mindlessly staring into S21's eyes.
The raven haired girl struggled to find the right word as she waved her hands about. "... Unique."
S19 nodded, "I'll take that as a compliment."
