"SO, YOU GUYS AREN'T ROBOTS, RIGHT?" S23 asked casually as she tied her hair into a ponytail.

A few girls stared at her as if she was dumb. But a few looked as if they were in thought, "Wait, what if all you guys are actually robots, like, for real." S4 said aloud, taking the thought into consideration.

"If any one of us were to be a robot, it would be S5 unnie." S3 mentioned, tying her shoelaces together. "And if any one of us were to be an alien, it would be S4 unnie."

S4's eyebrows raised and she nudged the girl harshly, almost pushing her off the sofa. "Shut up, stupid."

The girls were getting ready to head out. S1 and S5 had briefly mentioned what they were doing, but were waiting until all twenty four were together to explain properly.

S7 and S8 woke up early in the morning, each curled up uncomfortably on a deck chair. Keep in mind that they were still in their pyjamas from the previous afternoon.

Just about ten minutes after they woke up, they heard people knocking on the window that looks into the living room.

They walked over and tried their best to hear what the girls were saying. The windows were quite thick, but eventually they got the message.

In the meantime, S7 and S8 chatted to waste the time. "Naky-unnie, when is your birthday?" S8 asked, putting her glasses back on for now.

S7 looked over hesitantly, "We're allowed to share this, right? I don't feel like staying out here for another night." She sighed.

S8 hummed in thought, her eyebrows furrowing slightly, "I'm... Not really sure." She looked at the older girl, "It's up to you. I'll tell you mine if you decide to, aswell."

"Fuck MOD Lake." S7 mumbled, running a hand through her hair. Her bangs flopped back into place and S8 couldn't help but smile at the sight. "Thirteenth of October. I'm an '02 liner, but you already know that part, i guess."

S8 nodded, "Mines is the third of February, 2005." She paused, "I don't think sharing birthdays are a big deal, right? Surely." She said, more so to convince herself that it would be fine.

In all honesty, this place is not a prison. Sure, it might seem like one, but it's genuinely just for the girls to have fun and relax. Maybe not relax entirely, but have fun. For now, atleast...

S5 tied her shoelaces and stood from the sofa, "Has anyone tried opening the door yet?"

Everyone replied no, so she went to check it out herself. When she pulled on the handle, the door slid open. "Huh." She breathed out, the fresh air hitting her face. I wonder when the door unlocked...

S20 approached after her, "Do you think it could've opened when we were all sleeping just to throw us off?" She asked thoughtfully, squinting up at the blaring sun above.

"Maybe." S5 walked out into the garden, "S7, S8! Go get dressed. And don't take too long doing that, please. We're going to try and locate missions today."

The two nodded and rushed inside. S8, stopped abruptly, almost tripping over herself, "Uhm, do you think we can get something quick to take with us? We've not eaten since yesterdays lunch..." She smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck.

S5 nodded, "Sure. Hurry up, though."

S1 approached her as the rest of the girls started to walk out into the garden. "I knew there would be someone else better for leading than me." She said, looking somewhere else to avoid eye contact, "When it told me in the letter than i'd have to lead twenty three other girls... I was a little scared."
