" now we're in a world of our own that we've never experienced before . " ⊹˚₊
MOD Lake is only allowing 24 girls into their summer camp this year. How in the world did they manage to choose only 24 students out of 120?
It's a wonder why these girls...
S3 WAS TALL AND VERY PRETTY. S2 had gotten up to peek around the corner of the building. At this point, S3 had already started walking towards the white building and was looking around with a raised eyebrow.
S2 had started waving at her from a distance with a big smile, "S3! Over here!" She shouted, making S3 look up towards her.
S1 got up from the deck chair and walked over to them. "Welcome." She paused, "Well, i'm not sure what i'm welcoming you to, but welcome."
S3 smiled at her, "Thanks." She then paused and looked at the two, "So, uh, who is S1 and who is S2?"
The three started chatting and catching eachother up a little bit, a few unanswered questions still lingering in the fresh air. "Should we... Make nametags?" S3 suggested, looking around for anything available. "Just for now until we start to remember everyone's name- Well, numbers."
S1's head perked up, "Oh, that's a good idea." She begun to look around aswell, looking through any kinds of storage that met the eye.
Eventually, and somehow, they had found those exact type of stickers that you'd use for nametags. It was as if the staff at MOD Lake had known about their idea beforehand.
"Wow, i can't believe we found these..." S2 mentioned, looking through the few pages of plain white stickers.
S3 looked further into the same storage cabinet, "Oh, and there's also coloured pens." She brought them out with a slightly confused smile. "This is a little strange, but oh well."
"This whole situation is strange." S1 said as she began to make her nametag.
A little while later, the three girls had made their own nametags and left things out for everyone else when they arrived eventually.
"S4 is now approaching MOD Lake." The AI-like voice rang through the speakers once again.
The three looked up and began to make their way to the corner of the building. When they peeked at S4, they were slightly startled. S1 tried to keep her laugh in, even though she felt bad.
"What is this?! Who is doing this to me? Show yourselves! I dare you!" S4 screamed, looking exasperated.
S3 raised her voice and waved her hand, "Hey! S4, over here!"
S4's head whipped towards the trio and her eyebrows furrowed, "Get me out of here! It was you wasn't it?" She shouted.
Eventually, they had gotten her to come over and calm down. S3 offered a hug, then S4 started to hug everyone else afterwards. "I'm sorry. I'm a little overwhelmed. This is very..."
"Weird." S1 finished, crossing her arms. "We know. I'm S1, but i've only been here for just over an hour. We barely know anything." She reassured.
When they had caught her up, made her feel relaxed and had gotten her to make a nametag, S5 arrived.
It really turns out that she was set to be a leader aswell as S1. S1 sighed in relief and thanked whoever set this up. It felt like that weight of having to be in charge of twenty three others was lifted off of her shoulders. S5 was also the oldest camper so far.
By the time S1 had been around for about seven hours, it was already five pm and twenty campers filled the garden.
They had split off into groups, doing their own thing, occassionally gathering together to greet the new camper.
S1 had clocked onto the fact that a new camper arrived every twenty minutes. By now, the twenty first camper should arrive in five minutes.
No one had their phones, or any kind of electric devices at that, but there was a big analog clock on the wall of the white building.
A few people started playing basketball, some had started making food at the barbeque and a few were just lazing around by the pool, chatting, on deck chairs.
It was summer, so it was still quite bright outside and the sun was blaring down on them. Most of them were dying to get into the alluring pool, but they weren't dressed for it.
Speaking of belongings and luggage, S1 wondered about who was putting those letters on the entrance table every time a new camper arrived. She peeked over a few times and waited for something to happen.
It turns out that some type of machine puts it there. There was no one driving it from where she could see, but it looked like a little robot.
She thought it was very strange, but there's not exactly a way she can go back now. Plus, all the girls around her were in the same boat, so it's not like she was the only one confused and stuck in here.
"S21 is now approaching MOD Lake."
The usual procedure of waving the new camper over and greeting them, catching them up about everything and making a nametag occured.
Eventually, as everyone was about to eat, the AI-like voice announced that S24 would be arriving.
Everyone fell silent and looked at eachother. "Is this really happening?" S1 asked with a small relieved smile.
Everyone got up and peeked around the corner and a few waved at the girl near the small table at the entrance. "S24! Come on over!" S13 shouted, being one of the girls waving their hands.
When the girl made it over, she felt a bit overwhelmed and, of course, very confused. They reassured her about everything and made her feel welcome.
It was already six in the evening and S1 hadn't eaten since before she arrived (ten am), "Let's eat, shall we? I'm really about to die if i don't eat right now." She said as she scrunched her face together.
S5 chuckled at her as she thought she looked cute, "Yeah. Let's eat first."
All twenty four girls sat by the campfire, which wasn't lit, and ate sausages and bacon and whatever the few girls had made in the barbeque.
"Hello and welcome to MOD Lake, everyone." The AI-like voice rang through the speakers and into the garden once again. Everyone froze and stopped eating, looking at eachother in shock. A few flinched and dropped their food (S4 and S7).
"My name is SUAH. It is expected that you may feel confused or uncomfortable, but we want to reassure you that you can relax and have fun. This is simply a rewarding summer for the twenty four of you that passed of one hundered and twenty." The voice said, remaining all the same as before.
"We passed out of a hundered and twenty?" S11 asked, shocked.
