𝘿𝙊𝙊𝙈 𝙋𝙊𝙑 -
"Are you okay?" I stood facing the view through the window from the hospital's 5th floor. Konon chuckled and I heard her rustling under her blanket. "I heard the girl gave you a name, Riki right? It suits."
We sat in silence before she broke it again. "You're starting to let her into your heart you know?"
"What makes you say that? She can't break me, I'm Doom. That's what I do to her." Konon got up and walked over to where I was before picking up a plant and watering it. "You're protecting her. I didn't build you for that purpose. She is using you, you'll gain nothing while she'll gain freedom, a longer life, and more years to spend with her father."
I scoffed leaning against the bed frame. "I'm using her. Once I die I'll be free from you, fate, God and the devil himself."
"Will you though? Can you guarantee that will happen?" She shot me a piercing glare and grinned at my silence before continuing,
"Power is a chain, and those who hold it can bind you tighter than any physical bond. The one who controls your fate owns your freedom."

𝙃𝙒𝘼𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙉𝙂 𝙋𝙊𝙑 -
"Heeseung could you pass me the whipped cream please." I creamed the top of the pastry and quickly put it on a tray with the customer's drinks before walking to their table. "Thank you."
"No worries." I picked up the tray again and rushed behind the counter to take some more orders. There were many customers in the cafe today which means that we were all very busy because a few of us weren't in.
Jungwon was feeling sick and Daeun decided not to work after what had happened the night before. Jake also wasn't in but I suspected that it was probably because of his modelling schedules.
When the day had finally ended Heeseung and I were the last to clean up the shop. "Shall we make a quick drink and snack before we finish? I asked Jake and he doesn't mind." I agreed and sat down at the counter seat as Heeseung made us a quick drink and grabbed a croissant for us to share.
We talked about all sorts of things, funny moments, celebrities and movies, even the rest of the guys. "Do you remember when Jay accidentally put sugar instead of salt and all the salads we had that day tasted really bad." We burst out laughing and I could even feel a tear coming down my cheek. "Yeah, I was scared of eating any salad for 2 weeks."
