𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝟮𝟲 - 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗞𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

𝙃𝙒𝘼𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙉𝙂 𝙋𝙊𝙑 -

Riki was gone. The red flash of the bracelet was a deep crimson red and I remembered the words he'd told me a while ago.

"The bracelet was dormant but now that I have connected it with me it is now silver, the color of my soul. If you take it off you will no longer be immune to pain, the same for if it goes red. That means I've been renounced or have left this universe."

Now that the bracelet was red I was definitely soon gonna start feeling the pain of this shitty disease and it wasn't gonna be pretty knowing that I'd already felt a bit of it before. I rubbed my eyes and glanced over to Taehyun and realised that instead of worrying about this I should be worrying about more important things. More important people. The door rang and I quickly walked over to open it.

Daeun was panting as she rushed through my front door and towards the living room where Taehyun was sat wrapped like a teddy in a blanket and watching some TV. "H-hey baby, what happened?" Daeun went to cradle him but he hid his face into the pillow not uttering a word. She looked up to me and I signalled for her to 'give me a sec'. I crouched down next to Taehyun and slowly removed the blanket from his face.

"Taehyun, can you show your beautiful face please?" I shot him a smile and he just stared up at me before fully moving his face out of the blanket. "Let's all talk hmm?" I suggested and he slowly nodded before sitting up as I got a glass of water from the kitchen for Daeun.

"Baby what happened? You can tell me everything you know." Daeun started tearing up and I handed her a tissue before sitting down on the floor beside her. "Are you really s-selfish? Did you take me away from my dad?"

"Oh honey, no. I would never, what, why would you think that?"

"This man came up to me and told me you took me away from him and that he was my father." Tears started streaming down Taehyun's face and Daeun and I gently wiped them away. "Look baby, that man is your father and I wanted to wait until you were a bit older but he is not a good person."

"Really?" He asked and she nodded. "I wanted him to be there for you, but to protect you I had to leave his side so that everyone could be safe and happy. Do you understand that? You know that I love you most in this world."

"Okay. I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry." I rubbed Taehyun's cheek and gave him a quick cuddle as a smile slid onto my face. He was the cutest and most innocent boy ever.

"I swear I'm going to fuck up this guy's life. For fuck's sake." I rushed straight to my local shooting range after hearing the news about Joohyung and Taehyun. It was my way of letting off some steam after something serious. Charles stood to my left calmly watching me as I shot multiple bullets one-after-the-other at the dummy target in front of me.

"What would be the wise thing to do in this situation?" I asked Charles and I looked back to see him shrug before suggesting something, "Well I'd say avoid conflict and maybe just talk to him to get him to leave your family alone."

"Alright let's do the opposite."

I heard Charles chuckle from behind me and I threw him the car keys as he caught them mid-air. I could not trust myself with driving knowing how angry I was right now, so I'll let him take the reign's for this one.

"How are we gonna find this fucker?" I scrolled through my phone trying to find numbers for people to hunt Joohyung down but Charles just passed me his phone. "I've had a small eye on him for some time. It looks as if he's walking home right now."

"Let's go and meet him then." I smirked and we both hopped into the car before driving off.

We were tailing behind Joohyung, the sky was navy blue and he stumbled around looking quite tipsy as he walked down the gloomy street. He nearly tripped over a stone and I chuckled before unlocking the car door and following by foot.

I pulled my hood over my head and pulled up my balaclava to cover most of my face before quickly lunging onto the back of him and pulling him into a nearby alleyway. "What? W-what the fuck is happening?" He attempted to wriggle out of my clasp but I knew it wasn't gonna work considering that he was under the influence.

"Why the fuck did you approach my kid today? Who the fuck do you think you are, huh?" I threw a punch to the side of his jaw and I could've sworn I heard a slight crack as he stumbled back to stabilise himself using the wall. I jabbed a punch into his gut and swept him off his feet using my own foot before picking up a nearby rod and aiming it at his side.

"You have 5 seconds to explain your shit before I send you flying like a fucking golf ball." I grunted and he groaned in pain. "Who's child? My child? Taehyun right? I don't really care-"

"One swing and your fucking finished so don't spew shit."

He scoffed before answering and staring up at the sky like a crazy person. "Child support, it will get me some extra money. Besides that fucker would be useful for selling shit easily. No police detect children as drug dealers-"

"YOU FUCKING PYSCHO!" I screamed and hit the rod at his side multiple times until he started coughing out blood and just as I was about to go hands and knees to punch the living shit out of him I felt Charles pull me back and drag me into the car.

"Alright. The job's done, let's go." He strapped in his seatbelt and I reluctantly did the same before he took us both back to my house. That fucker was lucky. He better understand that this is the last time he will fuck with my family. Fucking joke.
