UNIT LOG - David

DESC - DAVID - On the brink of Impossibility.

Whenever David is in the same room as one of the others, there is a 50% chance they wont even notice. When they do realize he's there, it's not because of seeing or hearing him, but feeling his presence. Everyone has said something different about his presence, but the most common note is that it feels as if if tinnitus had a feeling. Not necessarily unpleasant, just uncalled for. - MICHAEL

When asked about his relationships with the other units, David has a mostly positive report, the only abnormality being that Jeremiah and Jade keep calling him a furry. David claims he doesn't know what that means, or where it came from. 
 - Jade admits to calling David and Aster furries. It is not yet known why she feels the need to do this. - DOMINO

Notes on Ability: Teleportation - David 
Dubbed E4 path jumper, learned. Being a unit with believed connection to the fourth dimension, this makes sense. This also explains how he disappears completely off our trackers when he teleports. Movements seems to always be a conscious choice, and are always collective, but seem to only be possible if the unit walks into a wall or similar (noclipping?). No one has actually seen the movement, as researchers always report needing to conveniently blink and video feed blacks out for a split second, but audible after-affects are described as a very faint crackling noise. No radioactivity or energy is reported expelling from the vanishing point. Testing with objects has been very successful, as the unit can actually bring object(A) in, set it down, come back, bring in object(B), put that down, bring back object(A), then bring back object(B). Cargo movements only include collective movements, though. (there is no video evidence of this, as video documenting devices were asked to be turned off by the unit, and researchers to turn their backs.) we had no available units for other testing. - DOMINO

It has come to our attention that there may be more Davids in other dimensions. Now this contradicts our prior beliefs that there are not other Davids seeing as nobody from or in another dimension has ever seen one. A few weeks back we saw David walking outside of the facility. We thought he had just escaped again. Then when we checked the camera's date and time, we realized that while we were seeing him outside, he was being questioned inside. He had no comment on the matter and simply became agitated when asked about it. - MICHAEL

Mask testing - David 
Researcher Michael: "So David, you claim that your mask is indestructible, yes?"
David: "That's correct. Now don't try anything stupid-" Researcher Jameson proceeds to step into the room with a bag full of miscellaneous weapons. Including a nail gun, a glock 17, and a .44 Magnum.
David: "WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SAY-"Researcher Jameson proceeds to unload the .44 Magnum into David's face. No visible changes are shown on the mask.
Michael: "How do you feel David?"
David: "LIKE I'VE JUST BEEN SHOT WITH A MAGNUM YOU ASSHOLE!"
Michael: "Pull the lever Kron-Jameson!"
Jameson.: "Sure thing boss!"Researcher Jameson pulls a lever on the wall, and a battering ram flies into David's face.

Black light experiences have been done; it was reported that David would begin to glow a blueish-purple color, and when black light was removed after being shined on him for a period of time, he would continue to glow like a glow in the dark vinyl. - CHLOE

If David is to ever turn on the others, the other units are advised to talk sense into him. If all else fails, David is to be knocked over the side of the head with a wrench, that'll fix the problem. - JAMESON
More realistically, he is to be surrounded by EMF users and sanctioned into a magnetically charged room, very similarly to Ben. - THE BOSS
