Twenty Years Prior to Current Events

The golden god marched through the hallways, the cloak of similar colors trailing closely behind him. He glanced down the infinite maze of hallways every few seconds but he finally made it to the end of one of the long hallways, a golden gateway waiting for him.

"BART!" The god shouted. "WE NEED TO GO!" He turned around and stood by the gateway, impatient.

Bart suddenly popped out from around the corner to see Salice waiting for him. He shrieked and ran up to Salice.

"Crap," Bart muttered. "Are we late...?" He trotted up to Salice, who was now tapping his foot on the ground impatiently.

"About time," Salice hissed. "And yes, we are."

Salice turned back to the portal, breaching through it as Bart swiped his briefcase up and quickly followed.

"Where are Salice and Zero?" Hugh asked. "We cannot start without everyone."

Sam grimaced, "Zero has decided to start quite a track of disobedience... Salice, however, he needs to be here..."

The ten gods sat around the table, all at their specified seats, five seats unaccounted for. The golden god, the cyan god, the indigo god, the gray god and the rainbow god.

Salice, Chronix, Zero, Zivrix and Alba.

The ten stared at the rectangular golden gateway resting behind the golden god's chair. It pulsed and Salice ran through, Bart following closely.

"I'm sorry that we're late," Salice stated, marching up to his seat. "I had to wait for this one..." He motioned towards Bart, who shrunk in on himself slightly, embarrassed. He then motioned the briefcase up to the Salice.

Salice swiped the briefcase out of Bart's grip before setting it into the table as he sat down, the briefcase forming into a golden book.

"You're awfully late," Uximes stated. "We've been waiting around half an hour."

"As I previously stated, I had to wait for this one; he had my book."

The ten other gods glanced up at Salice. Specifically the golden book that rested gently on the table in front of him.

"I say we get started," Nova stated. "Sam?"

"Yes," Sam muttered. "Salice. Have you seen or heard anything of Zero's wearabouts as of recent?"

"I have not seen him through any of the windows," Salice glanced around the room nervously. "I hadn't thought to look for him, but... If he were in a severed dimension, perhaps, I would not be able to use the web to contact him. Is that what this meeting is about?"

Sam shook their head, "It would just be great for him to show up to the meetings again." They sighed. "Anyways, the purpose of this meeting—"

"Not so fast!"

The indigo portal behind the empty indigo seat pulsed and Zero rushed through, stretching widely. He hopped over the chair and into the seat next to Uximes.

"You guys really tried starting such an important meeting without me?" He asked tauntingly. "I'm hurt."

Cubit sighed, "Why have you chosen to attend this meeting in favor of the others?"

"Because I happen to know that this meeting is about my good pal Sally!" Zero motioned towards the golden god, who perked up.

"What?"

"Oh no," Zero exaggeratedly frowned. "Was I not supposed to say anything? I guess all of you are too pussy to just tell him..."

"Tell me what?!"
