SOFT MUSIC PLAYED QUIETLY WITHIN THE ROOM AS A MAN WROTE ON THE CHALKBOARD, CHUCKLING TO HIMSELF. He ruffled through his light brown hair before turning back to the class and crossing his arms, presenting the equation to the class.

"And this is the question you all failed on the test!" He chuckled, before strolling back to his desk. "Study up, this will most certainly be on the final."

The bell dinged loudly and the students began to flood out of the class, leaving the professor alone as he slumped back into his seat, exhausted. He breathed heavily, looking down at his shaking hands before throwing his hand towards his bottle of pills. He swiped the bottle of pills off from the desk before unscrewing the cap and tapping two pills onto his palm. He popped them into his mouth before grabbing the bottle of water and taking a sip, downing the pills.

He glanced down at his calendar, sighing again.

"Only a week until my treatments."

The man stumbled into the classroom, an IV bag attached to him as he limped towards his desk. He slumped down into the desk, wheezing as he breathed heavily, slumping his head down to the desk. He slowly raised his head back up to face the class, who were looking at him worriedly.

"Open... your pages to forty-one... and... just do the work on that page..." He could barely speak as he rested his head back on his forearms.

He wheezed as he breathed, sitting against the wall as he studied the text open on his laptop. He scrolled through it, looking for any key information, when two men bursted into the room, both holding rifles.

"Alive or a cold one?!" they questioned.

The man quickly shot into a stance before stumbling backwards, throwing his hands into the air in fear.

"Alive!" He pleaded, terrified.

One of the men rushed up to him and turned on a lens on his scope. He examined the professor closely before shaking his head and rushing out of the room with the other. The professor stumbled backwards, still breathing heavily. He shot his attention to his laptop once more before stumbling towards it.

The professor limped away from the desk and stared up at the large, Omega-shaped gateway as he got ready to power it on. He let out one last, shaky breath, before walking slowly towards the gateway and slipping a small cube into the power socket. Energy flowed from the center of the gateway, spreading outwards, before forming into a large vortex.

"Here goes nothing..." he breathed heavily.

Just as he got ready to step through, a blast of energy collided with him, sending him backwards and into the wall.

Aster flew through the Omega gateway frame, colliding with the wall as he began to groan, falling down to the floor. He slowly stirred, rubbing his temple before pushing himself upwards. He slowly scratched the back of his head, his eyes blurring relentlessly.

"Damnit, I lost my glasses...!"

He searched across the floor, stumbling across it, trying to find his black glasses. He finally swiped the glasses off of the ground, before placing them over his eyes and springing up. He glanced around, the room oddly familiar to Aster. A headache pulsed through the back of Aster's head and he yelled out angrily.

"Youch!" He rubbed his temples. "What the hell..."

Prior.

"What did you do?!" David growled, his fists clenched as he stood face to face with Plus. "What the hell is your plan!? How am I here, you bastard?!"
