Rain tapped unevenly against the metallic wall as Jade stared into the scenery blurring past. She put her hand out into the wind, feeling it push against her hand, not to mention the water droplets splashing against it. Her feet dangled from the train cart as she breathed quietly, waiting for the train to come to a stop.
It was a spur of the moment decision, coming onto the train. All she had on her was her school backpack, all of the supplies still in it, along with her phone and charger. She didn't know what else to do, what else are you supposed to do after, in her mind, killing someone?
A Week Earlier.
Jade stared out the window into the street as her friends sat at the table around her discussing pretty random things. Maybe it was about their project in art, or what they were gonna do for the rest of the weekend. It didn't matter to Jade, she was just here to hangout and have fun.
"Dude, Billothy is actually so annoying," Jeremiah stated.
Now Jade chimed in, "He is." She looked away from the window back to her friends. "He needs to piss off about who's pants I'm tryna get into. So what if I like girls?"
"Worst possible way you could've worded that," Sam stated. "But yeah, I don't get why it bothers all of them so much."
"They just want something to complain about," Aster commented.
"Billothy and his posse just suck," Jade hissed. "If Billothy was alone he'd be such a pussy."
"Yeah, okay, what are you trying to say?" Sam questioned.
"I could beat him," Jade stated.
"Yeah right!" David exclaimed.
"I definitely could beat him in a fight, trust me!" Jade exclaimed.
"That'd be fun to watch," stated Aster, sipping from his cup of soda.
"Especially since you'd probably fail miserably," Jeremiah muttered, snickering to himself.
"Oh shut up!" Jade exclaimed.
"Look, Jade, you couldn't beat him, but I could," stated Sam.
Everyone murmured quietly in agreement.
"He can't do anything if we break his knees," David brought up.
All of them laughed.
"I mean, c'mon, he's not possibly that strong, yeah?" Jade added. "And plus, if we all went at him we'd be unstoppable."
"That'd never happen," David stated.
"Yeah, you're right," Jade muttered. "Because I'd go at him alone!"
"You'd go at who alone?" A voice asked from behind the group. Jade suddenly froze up.
She quickly shook her head, regaining her composure as she turned around. It was, of course, Billothy.
"You, actually," Jade hissed. "We could beat you. Pretty easily, actually."
"Jade, shut up!" Jeremiah pleaded.
"No, she's right," Sam stated, standing up. "We could beat your hick-ass if we wanted."
Jeremiah stared at the two before cursing under his breath and standing up, "Yeah, bitch!"
Aster jumped up also, "Yeah... Nerd-Loser-Bozo!"
Billothy began to laugh as David stood up.
"You won't be laughing when your knees are gone," He glared at Billothy.
