Human Girl's POV

I woke up staring at the ceiling. And then I heard a shift of movement. I quickly looked to the right corner across from me and saw him. He sat in the corner where my blue couch was by the bookshelf.

"Wakey, wakey, princess." He winked at me. Ugh, so infuriating.

I sat up on my bed. "What do you want? Did you watch me sleep all night? Stop stalking me." I snapped while rubbing the sleep dust from my right eye.

He stood up from the chair and put his arms out like he was alarmed and defending himself. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. There is no need to be THIS feisty this early in the morning, princess. Is that how you should treat your savior? I AM the one who saved you from ALMOST jumping into the water, after all. You should be thanking me or at least be nice to me."

That's it. I had it with this egotistical vampire. I immediately pulled my blanket off and charged up to him.

I jabbed my right index finger on his chest. "YOU listen here. I already thanked you after you dropped me off at my house. I'm SO sick of you taunting me and calling me pet names. I. AM. NOT. YOUR. TOY!" I shouted the last part in his face.

"Well...it looks like someone really is challenging me today. I should remind you like I did yesterday. You are still in a bath towel and that means...I can do something to change that." He started walking towards me.

Crap, I was so distracted getting annoyed at him, I forgot I slept in my bath towel. I gulped and took a step back.

"Silent now, aren't you? What happened to your sassy little mouth? I should teach you a thing or two on how to use it." He chuckled and started walking towards me.

"FUCK YOU, YOU PERVERT!" I shouted.

"Oh, not just sassy but a dirty mouth too? Tsk, tsk, tsk. Isn't it a little too soon? Unless if that's what you want. In that case, I'm curious to see what you can do. I already told you, I am NOT a pervert. Maybe a little flirtatious but a pervert? Nah."

I kept walking backwards but my back hit the wall. As he came closer to me, I turned to my left and closed my eyes. I felt his breath on my right cheek.

"Aw, why are you turning away from me? Are you scared? You were being so brave a couple seconds ago. Shouting profanities at me." He sighed.

I felt him grabbing my cheeks with one hand and turning my face straight towards him.

I opened my eyes and his face was just millimeters away from mine. He could practically just kiss me if he wanted to—WAIT, what am I talking about?! Snap out of it!

He removed his hand from my face and moved it near my shoulder blade. "You know, you didn't even notice that you have your necklace on. It was left behind on my bed after I dropped you off last night." He traced my necklace line and put his palm under the heart locket.

"To answer your question: No, I did not watch you sleep all night. After uh...what happened between us, you fell asleep. I placed you on your bed and put your necklace on you. I took off after that."

Memories of last night flashed my brain. He came in when I was wearing my bath towel. And then he tortured me with his lips. I gritted my teeth remembering. After I fainted, I vaguely do remember being lifted and my shoulder blade being touched with something hard and cold. And then I passed out.

"For your information, I didn't fall asleep. I fainted and passed out. I thought I lost my necklace when I was running away from you and tripped in the forest."

"What do you mean you fainted?" He asked, confused.

I looked away to the right. "Oh...um, it's nothing. I just passed out from exhaustion because I had a long day." I said quickly.
