Cause love's an illusion, I've made my resolution
But now there's confusion

Cause then I see you there
You're like an ordinary girl
With something I can't explain, with something I can't explain
I cannot break my stare
You're like a necessary drug
And I'm feeling you in my veins, I'm feeling you in my veins

So I think I'm gonna meet you right now

Alexandar's POV (YAY! 🥰💘)

After I went to the restroom, I stepped outside and waited on the bench for her. I looked at the time on my watch. It was 9:07 AM. I waited 5 minutes. Where is she? I was growing annoyed and impatient. Another 5 minutes passed. Okay, that's it. I'm gonna look for her.

Since her human scent has been masked by the potion, I can't easily find her. I looked inside the party. She was no where in sight. I even made rounds around the building. Still no sign of her. Maybe she's already beat me to the bench and was walking in the garden maze? So I sped back to the bench and zoomed around searching for her in the maze.

I still couldn't find her but...I heard some muffled voices far behind me. I sensed that I wasn't the only vampire here. And then...I faintly heard her voice. She sounded scared. The inside of my chest tightened. I turned back around to follow her voice.

I heard a very familiar and distinct voice. It was Damien. I started running faster, and the inside of my chest was pounding louder by the second. I was reaching closer to the bench.

I saw her standing there near three vampires. It looked like Rarkshar was blocking her path. I could hear her heart racing. She turned around to run right when I stood behind her. She ran straight into my chest and looked up at me. Her eyes were shaking wide, and I could feel the tremble of her body vibrating against my chest and abdomen.

I looked up at the three vampires standing before me. I could feel the anger boiling inside me and emanating outside of me. I stared at them dead in thee eyes. "What's the problem?" I said, coldly.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. There's no need to flash your red eyes, Alexandar." Damien was the first to speak while putting his arms out in defense. "We just wanted to get to know your new friend and...simply introduce ourselves. That's all. No biggie." He did a waving gesture with his hand like it was nothing to worry about.

"Well, it looks to me that it was a little more than a...friendly introduction." I retorted.

"Wait, why are you here? I thought you weren't going to the ball." Damien furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"Maybe I changed my mind. Speaking of the ball, I highly suggest you guys get back to the party. We wouldn't want an ugly fight ruining the fun party now, do we?" I cocked my head to the right.

Damien furrowed his eyebrows at me. "No...of course not." He sighed and turned to look at his friends. "C'mon guys! Let's head back to the party." Rarkshar and Wilem both gave me dirty stares, but I stayed unfazed with a straight face. All three of them turned around and headed towards the exit door.

I waited until they were gone and not within earshot distance. I felt my anger fading and my eyes returning to their normal silver color. I looked down and pulled her arms away to look at her. "Are you okay?"
