Human Girl's POV (finally, yay! 😆)

After the vampire took off, I walked to my front door and entered. Once I got in and closed the door, I leaned against the door and let out a deep breath.

The past few days has been crazy for me. I've been through a lot of crazy things in my life but coming across a vampire definitely wasn't what I was expecting.

I feel like gagging. He thinks he can treat me however he wants just because I'm human. Ugh, I wish he would just leave me alone already. I really don't need or want anyone or anything being a nuisance to me.

I'm already going through a lot. Trying to keep up with the bills of my house and car, going to college, and dealing with my own depression. I already felt like I was going down a downward spiral and what do you know, add an annoying, perverted vampire in the mix and your whole world just turned upside down...well, more than it already is.

I'm too tired and annoyed to think about him or the fact that vampires aren't just a folklore. I walked towards my bedroom. I had classes in two hours so that gives me enough time to change my outfit, clean myself up, and hit the road.

Every step I took, my ankle was throbbing in pain. This is ALL because of that jerk. I swear, I'm going to show him that he's messing with the wrong girl. I made my final step to the top of the stairs and headed to my bedroom for fresh new clothes. I threw my old clothes in my laundry bag and picked out a new outfit. Black jeans and black t-shirt was as simple and easy as I can make it. I put them on and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair and wash my face.

After I was done getting ready, I had 30 minutes left until 10:00 AM. I slipped on my backpack from my bedroom floor and walked towards the coat closet to grab my black jacket and put it on. I grabbed my keys and backpack and walked out to lock the door. Placed my backpack in the backseat and bolted to school.

~*~

I had four back-to-back classes today. I was only in my second class when I could feel myself drifting. Dammit, should've gotten some coffee or tea in the morning. but I was too busy getting ready for school and...getting stuck with a vampire. Ugh! I just thought him about again when I swore not to!

After my second class was over, I walked to the cafeteria to buy some food. I grabbed a chicken bacon cheese sandwich from the food tray along with some fries and an orange juice bottle. I paid for my food and sat down. Mhm, the sandwich was delicious. The cheese melted on my tongue and the bacon was savory. The chicken was soft as ever. I loved everything.

After I got done eating, I threw my food away and headed to my third class. And then eventually, my fourth class which is thank god, my last class for the day. After my last class finally ended, it was 5:00 PM.

I worked a part-time job at a coffee shop 10 minutes away from my house called Crazy 4 Coffee. My shift started at 6:00 PM so I only had an hour to drive back to my house, switch to my work uniform, and go to work. I work as a store clerk and take customers' orders. During down time, I take customers' dishes and clean the tables. I work until closing time which is 10:00 PM. After my shift was over, I drove straight home. As soon as I got through the front door, I was wiped.

I walked to my bathroom. I took out the fabric that the vampire wrapped around my ankle and threw it away. A nice, hot shower is what I very much needed after a long day of classes and working. I winced in pain because of the water pouring down against the scar on my ankle. It was oozing some leftover blood and it still hurts.

Once I was done showering, I stepped out of the shower and felt myself limp forward due to my scar. I wrapped the bath towel around myself and looked into the bathroom closet to find the pack of band-aids. I grabbed the big rectangular band-aid and sticked it on my scar. I walked to my room to search for some pajamas in my drawer.
