I wanna tell you 'bout my heartbeat
And how it hits when you're around
I wanna tell you how I spent my whole life
A flatline laying on the sidelineJust need the words to come out
Just need the words to come outSo here I am, stumbling on every word that comes to me
Do you know, that every single beat of your heart
Starts another fire in mine?
Opposite of dwindling is violent like a hurricane
Do you know, with every single beat of your heart
You start another fire in mine? And if I tell you about my heartbeat
Will it make you run or make you stay?
Cause you're like an arsonist inside me
You light the sky with my heart's flames"Beat Of Your Heart" - Safetysuit

Alexandar's POV
I ran like the wind carrying Alice in my arms. I got to my house and kicked the front door open. I sped up to the bathroom and laid her inside the corner bathtub. I placed her head next to the faucet. I turned on the faucet and adjusted the water to a warm temperature.
She was still unconscious. I was trying to figure out how to get her cleaned up because...eventually, her clothes are gonna have to be removed since it's dirty and...it will be soaked in water. She's gonna need a set of new clothes. I waited until the tub filled up close to the top and turned it off.
I walked out of the bathroom to my bedroom to find some new clothes for her. I searched through my wardrobe and found a white long sleeve button down and black shorts. Good enough. I headed back to the bathroom.
I set her new clothes on the bathroom counter. I opened the small closet to grab a new bath towel and also set it on the counter. I sat on the flat surface near the bathtub and sighed deeply.
I don't know how I'm gonna do this...I can feel the nerves inside me shaking. I have to get in the tub to remove her clothes and...there really isn't any other way. I slowly stepped inside the tub, soaking the bottom half of my pants.
I placed both of my knees on the bottom of the tub beside her body and leaned foward. I started lifting the bottom of her shirt upwards. As I got halfway, exposing her stomach, she slightly started to wake up.
She stared at me dazedly until her eyes fell my hands holding her shirt which was lifted up halfway. Her eyes shot wide open, and she immediately pushed my hands away, gasping.
"What are you doing?!" She pushed herself further away from me.
I put my hands up in defense. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm down. I wasn't gonna do anything. Your clothes are dirty and...I was just trying to get you cleaned up. That's all. I swear. I know this looks bad but you are wounded in different areas of your body, and I don't think you should be moving that much while you're in bleeding and in pain."
She stared at me, frightened. She moved her right hand to touch the cut on her neck and winced in pain.
"Whoa, careful!" I grabbed her right wrist and instinctively placed my left hand on the edge of the tub beside her, balancing myself.
We were now face-to-face, staring at each other just an inch apart. I could feel her breath on me. Her black eyes were darting back and forth at me. The inside of my chest was moving in a repetitive motion.
I cleared my throat. I chuckled. I let go of her wrist and swiped her right cheek with my right index finger. "Sweetie, your face is still caked with white powder."
